Do not stay here. I read reviews and everything was good. But when you are there and see the burnt eggs every morning for a week it's not work getting up at 6am. I was woken up at 415Am by two cockroaches crawling on my foot and ankle. I jumped out of bed and my husband and I immediately packed up our baby and our things and checked out. I asked for a manager and didn't get a call back for two days. The excuse I was given was that an exterminator was there a week ago and it was normal for some to still be there. That is inexcusable. There should be no pest infestation. I was offered a $25 walmart giftcard as an apology. I had to spend $200 on cleaning, and detailing and pest control sprays to make sure our belongings and car didn't have any roaches or eggs. DO NOT STAY HERE. If I could rate it no stars I would.
Absolutely disgusting hotel. I felt disgusting sleeping in beds, and the rooms felt musty. Then management proceeded to say that I smoked in the room with my two young children and wife, then proceeded to charge me a smoke few. This is a shady hotel and would stay clear away from them before they rip you off, too. We were here for my son's football camp. I wouldn't come back to this hotel if you paid us to stay here.
Went through booking dot come to reserve. The property declined my reservation as they turn away locals but also declined to waiver my cancelation on booking dot come ultimately taking 90 dollars from me. Manager seems uninterested and no remorse. This is the first time this has happened. If I get my money back I will remove this.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn @ Clemson. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend!
I travel alot thru and in this area. And I'm creature of habit I have stayed at this location over the past 6 yrs. The staff is top knotch ! Darby if your blessed to meet her on your stay goes above and beyond. I have stayed many location in this town . I don't care what anybody else says it is by far my choice. Others have points idc! I would rather stay where I'm treated like family. Alot of things changed during covid. And all these people on here fussing. About breakfeast ! And if you where charged for smoking in your room. You where so cut it and own it ! My room has always been clean and my stay has always been refreshing!! And if something was Amis it was always corrected that has been yrs . Ago . House keeping is the bomb and I have seen bad over the last 14 plus yrs. on the road . I'm done ranting. Lol enjoy your stay ! Faithfully your customer ! John J. DAY
I am sad to leave this review because I hate leaving bad reviews. However, the customer service was just about the only good thing I experienced during my stay. I got to the hotel and the woman at the front desk was amazing. However, when I got up to my room I found that the mugs that were in there had not been cleaned nor had the sink (someone had obviously shaved in the sink). The bed had a few bugs on the comforter. And our bathroom door would not close! The beds were very comfortable so it was a good nights sleep. However, when we got up for breakfast everything seemed great but every single thing we ate was cold. The only part of breakfast I enjoyed was the banana.
Stayed for one night a few days ago. Lovely customer service. Lovely room, thought the set up was really inventive and cute. Loved the colors. The breakfast area is small but you get the basics and then some, really fair for the price, and good considering the size of the hotel. I would recommend not putting sliced cheese in an omelette, I think a lot of people don't like it. But honestly, that was my least favorite thing about my stay, so, you can see it's actually a really great place. And you're really close to downtown for food and drinks. Tip-be ready by 11 to leave, because they start cleaning on the dot. Great place.
Was just ok. Could have been cleaner. Used coffee pod was left in the coffee maker, only one regular pod available, light in shower did not work. Bed was comfortable. Entire first floor and check-in area smelled like Snoop Dog's private wing for both days. Daytime staff were great, nighttime staff could care less. It was convenient to U centre On College which was nice. Probably won't stay again as there are other options we'd like to try.
