We stayed one night this summer. Excellent customer service. Ate at rooftop restaurant. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Pancakes the following morning were best I’ve ever had. Staff appears to truly enjoy their jobs. Highly recommend
Location was fantastic. Right in front of pier and lit up Pismo Beach Sign. We were upgraded to a fireside ocean view room which was very nice on account of our Hilton Status. Room was nice and spacious. The fire pit was awesome for those chilly nights and mornings. Walkable to all of downtown pismo. Carpet in hallways has seen better days. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was average. Valet parking only. Pool was extremely small but not a big deal bc you have the entire ocean across the parking lot.
Located right in the pier parking lot. Awesome view of the pier and ocean. The staff is one of the best, they go out of their way to help. Fast response to service the room with requests. The valet’s are hard working and aim to please. Rooms are nice and very clean. The second floor balcony was awesome.|The restaurant food is excellent but a little expensive, but to be expected.|Negative is the hallway carpet is very worn and stained. But the room is excellent. Another plus is Pismo Fish & Chips 1 1/2 blocks, Splash is a block away.|One drawback is the $30 a day valet parking. But to park on the street is more.|For being in middle of the Pismo pier action it’s pretty quiet.|Not cheap $400 a night.
We enjoyed a wonderful week at the hotel which included an early evening at the rooftop bar. From the time we were seated until we left to return to our room, the staff was very attentive. The drinks excellent. The food delightful. The highlight was Blake, our server. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and very patient as he listened to us gab about our reasons for our trip. All the recommendations he provided for our food selections and drinks were excellent. Blake is an absolute treasure and professional. If all your employees meet this level of care, this will be the most successful property in town.
We stayed for an entire week and enjoyed every single day. The room was spacious with a patio and fire pit. We were on the first floor just slightly elevated above the beach parking lot, the first night had us concerned because of cars honking their horns (like a game) but that was only the first night. And the cars have to be gone from the parking lot by 11pm which is good. The staff at the hotel were amazing. Very friendly and hospitable.
The only negative part of our stay was paying $30.00 day to park our car at the hotel. However the valet workers were top notch and make the process smooth and easy! And it's unlimited daily in and out.
Over all we really enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay here again.
During the booking, thought the location would be great, beach front. However, getting to the hotel was a bit of a hassle. One lane road to the hotel and of course due to graduations, took way longer than the 2-4 minute normal drive down the street. Not the hotel's fault, but slightly inconvenient to get in and out. Valet parking only (over the phone they said $50/night) but when checking it, was told $30/night. Room was spacious and clean and got upgraded to beach view. Views were great, but overlooked Pismo beach parking lot so lots of car noises even at night. Valet staff was very friendly and fast! Food at roof top was just ok, got hotel credit so that made it worth eating there, but otherwise tons of great restaurants around the hotel. After being home couple days, noticed 2 charges on my card for this same stay. When I called the hotel at 12am to ask about it, was put on hold for 20 min as the front desk had constant guests??!! At 12am? Will have to wait till their accountant fixes the double charge. Annoying.
Far from impressed for the money i paid. My balcony is barely big enough for me and my 11 yr old. I have no idea what is deluxe about this room. I aint paying $13 for a bowl of oatmeal. I would rather have paid for an airbnb. This hotel is not luxury at all. It only has location going for it. It is not very clean. Has 1 working elevator. $30 a day for parking. I have tea pods in my room...well i drink coffee. I just 480 a night for what?
The good:
The location is great, view is nice, and walkable to many areas at Pismo beach.
The valet and bell team were great, quick and polite service, I didn't have cash to tip the first day but was able to make up for it after finding an ATM. They never said anything or demanded one.
There was a water dispenser in the lobby for filling water bottles, that was great.
The bad:
The beach facing hotel is right above the parking lot. Many idling cars, some with heavy exhaust. Trash and street sweeping start before 7 am.
The room was not clean, the TV was literally falling off the wall in the room, a light switch had tape ovee it, the couch had only one pillow, and was missing things like plants that were clearly supposed to be there. I usually give hotels a benefit of the doubt and have stayed in ones with similar reviews and thought it was fine....but this was not up to the quality I have experienced with this brand before. The room had a kitchenette but not a single dish...which didn't really impact us but it would have been nice to know. No robes in the suites and our sheets were on the bed upside-down. The front desk member said they had them two weeks ago and didn't know what happened to them.
Staff: No apology or resolution for most of it from the front desk. They did some additional cleaning after we asked but it was only the basic things, like the obvious crumbs on the floor.
There were some staff that were great and seemed to be doing alot of heavy lifting. There were other staff that seemed to just stand around. One in particular didn't acknowledge the line at check in or at the rooftop bar....while others did all the work. The front desk Clerk seemed to be at the mercy of cost cutting and others, but nothing at all was offered for any inconveniences.
Overall cleanliness: The place is probably hard to keep clean near the beach, but the carpets and rooms for a hotel with this price needs a deep clean. The hallway carpets were very dirty, we went to the pool one afternoon and trash (including a band aid) were on the side of the pool for hours. Gross.

We love staying here! Every room has an ocean view and when we stay on upper levels we love keeping the sliding door open so we can hear the ocean waves and feel the fresh air. Very cool town as well. We love to go into town for food and San Luis Obi

The room is clean and refreshing.
The view is amazing during sunset.

Definitely recommend this hotel. Great service. Room was super clean and nothing was missing. Nice play area with playground, table tennis... Etc. The views from the hotel and from the rooms (ocean front rooms) are spectacular. There's a trail that r
Friendly staff, gorgeous-view oceanfront rooms, and dog friendly. Really enjoyed having a glass of wine on top of the cliff watching the sunset. It's also really nice being able to walk so far on the clifftop walk from hotel to hotel. Some minor issu
A few friends and I walked in for some late night tacos. Even though we walked in 10 minutes before closing, the workers were so kind and accommodating. I was astonished at the unique meat options I have never seen elsewhere! I always go for a classi
Beautiful little park on the cliffs overlooking Pismo beach. Toys/ playground was very busy when we were there. A nice path goes along the cliff with lots of places to sit and enjoy the views
If you are a foodie, then you should certainly check out this place! Bobbie is great! I found out about this sandwich/bread shop and am so glad I did! It is one of those LOCAL treats that you may pass by if you did not look for it, I know I did until
Visited this location close to sunset on our way back to Pismo from the Hearst Castle. The grounds are very interesting and beautiful. The entire visit lasted about one hour and cost $20 for two adults, kids are free. I look forward to being able to
This little overlook provides an amazing view! It wasnât super busy, but itâs surprisingly chilly out so it may be that. Plenty of room for the kiddos to run around and play, just be careful of the construction areas!
Wonderful experience in December. Not overly crowded, weather was wonderful. I even found a wild honey bee hive in a tree along the road when we parked. Beach was beautiful as well. White sand beach.
Worth the wait. There is a small outdoor area to sit and eat but no indoor seating. Everything is basically "to-go". That being said it is sooooo good. One of tge places you will go again and again. Biscuits are delicious but the chorizo tacos are ou
