We had such a wonderful time staying at The Inn. We were greeted by our wonderful host… I mean warden. Todd was great and walked us around the jail, showing us where everything was. He had great suggestions for where to eat and shop. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to walk to a few spots, but mostly took Uber. Our room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean. Todd was even kind enough to mail me items I accidentally left behind. Such a great place to stay with and so much history. Can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing stay at the Old Jail. I lived in Midcity, Gentilly, the Westbank years ago so I know the city well and friends had told me about the old jail. First, the vibe is awesome and authentic to New Orleans. The space has historic photos, grand pianos and other New Orleans eclectic pieces but is clean and uncluttered in the rooms, which I personally like. The rooftop view is great for morning coffee, and the rooms we stayed was perfect for two people and we had a bathroom. Everything felt easy staying here - it's nice to be out of the city a bit. I love the Treme area and felt very safe the entire stay. Our rooms and the front door had codes for that added layer of privacy. The owner Todd couldn't be a better host! He had plenty of suggestions for food and live music and always greeted us with a smile - can't wait to stay here on our next NOLA visit.

Ever spent the night in jail? Now I can say I have, and it was a great experience. 😊The Inn at the Old Jail is amazing! We had the opportunity to stay here just after Christmas. The property is beautiful and truly unique. It is even better than the photos online. So much character and charm throughout the entire property. Our hosts Todd & Nick were so gracious and helpful in every way. I look forward to being a repeat offender!

I really loved this place. The property is extraordinarily interesting. The staff is so nice and helpful. I loved the community kitchen set up. It felt like home, very comfortable. Trails nearby, Tulane just down the street and only about a 20 minute walk to Bourbon St. French Street is also close. For those who don’t like to walk a Lyft ride was about $11.50 from Canal & Bourbon St. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. I plan on staying here for all future trips to NOLA.

As someone who visits New Orleans multiple times a year, I am so glad I found this place as it’s the only hotel I’ll stay at from here on out. It’s the most unique hotel I’ve ever been too in the best possible way. The inn keepers couldn’t have been more accommodating- showed me around the entire hotel while sharing the incredible history of the property. They were also a great resource for things to check out in the neighborhood. Already planning my next trip back!

Cool and historic property - highly recommended Such an amazing place. A truly unique experience. We loved everything about the Old Jail - the historic athmosphere, the cool interior and the hospitality. We got excellent recommendations for eating and music from Todd, who is the most perfect host. We’d definitely stay here again.

This is the cutest hotel. Our room was a lot bigger than we initially thought it would be. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our TV the first night. We had plans to explore during the day and then go to dinner at night
