Lovely Inn. The rooms were very clean and appeared newly updated. Great location across a very quiet street from the beautiful beach. Very nice free breakfast. Helpful and nice staff. They also supply beach towels, chairs, umbrellas. Small but nice pool and hot tub. Just a short ride or walk to downtown with great shops and restaurants.

My mother and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Inn at the Beach in Venice Beach, Fl. We were pleasantly surprised with a lovely upgrade to an oceanfront room with easy access to the beach. The hotel provided us with beach chairs and towels, making our beach time even more enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, recommending some fantastic local restaurants for us to try. We also loved the homemade donuts, pastries, and other treats that were offered for breakfast—such a delightful touch. It was truly a full-service experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We would definitely recommend The Inn at the Beach and look forward to returning someday. Thank you for making our stay so special!

We had an EXCELLENT stay at the Inn at the beach for 5 nights! |-The room was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The pull out couch not as much but we managed. |-Even though located directly across the street from the beach, it was extremely quit at night. You can walk on the esplanade, all shaded to the center of town which has excellent restaurants and shops. |-We enjoyed Venice beach for a quick dip in the morning and to watch the sunset after dinner but we didn’t find it to be the best beach due to the sand. But this is a great location to drive to other local beaches such as Lido and Siesta Key. If your traveling with young children this is a great location as the inn is steps to the beach and it’s nice to be able to go back your room quickly if needed. |-Resort fees—you have to pay them like most places whether you plan to use the amenities or not. I must have a beach umbrella and the one provided by the resort is really only good for one person as it was a small umbrella. The sun is hot and strong in July so if your traveling party needs an umbrella too your best off either going to the dollar store around the corner and buying one or going to a beach that rents one. |-There is a Goodwill Store nearby and we bought for $5 a back pack cooler that was so handy to fill up with ice and cold drinks to bring to beach for the day. Grocery store is also right around the corner. |We had an excellent vacation in Venice and highly recommend the Inn at the Beach!

The inn at the beach in Venice was super! Rooms are very clean, continental breakfast was excellent, and the location couldn't be any better. It's walking distance to the downtown area and right across the street from the beach. I love this place and plan ongoing back. If you haven't been you should give it a try!

What can I say about this wonderful place. For starters, they are so nice here. Came down early on a Saturday hoping for an early check in. Regular check in is at 4 pm. They had no problem getting us in our room within an hour or so. Definitely made the trip that much better. Nice clean pool, hot tub and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Literally a few minutes walk to the beach and many restaurants close as well. Do yourself a favor and visit Inn a the Beach. Maybe we’ll see you there next time we come back.

Outstanding and more than we even expected. Directly across from the beach, we enjoyed borrowing the complementary beach chairs and umbrella available at the front desk. A short and comfortable walk to many restaurants and live music. The continental breakfast was another surprise with local pastries, coffee, and plenty of fruit, cereal, and yogurt, though we would have enjoyed some protein options. We will be back and recommend it to anyone.

Best find ever! Quaint little Inn on the beach. Really clean, right across road from the beach. Breakfast included. Very attentive staff. Ample parking. Beach equipment that you can borrow. We will be going back here for a longer stay. Close to shopping, and restaurants.

We could not have had a nicer stay! The inn is close to the beach and charming downtown Venice, with a park across the street where I pet many cute dogs. There's an abundance of excellent restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We enjoyed kayaking, paddleboarding, scuba diving, birdwatching, and watching the sunset to the sounds of a drum circle on Venice Beach. There's lots to do in the surrounding area as well. We visiting the Ringling, The Cat Depot, Siesta Key, and an Amish restaurant in nearby Sarasota. We were in Disney (where they nickel and dime you for everything) immediately before we traveled to Venice, so we more than appreciated the little extras Inn at the Beach provides such as a free breakfast, daily housekeeping, complimentary bottles of water and microwave popcorn for the room, and beach chairs to borrow. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning kept us comfortable through the sweltering August days. Staff, other guests, and locals were all very friendly. There's nothing like coming back from swimming in the Gulf of Mexico and then jumping in the pool! We'll be back as soon as we can.
