The Inn at Sunrise Point is the perfect get-away! The rooms are beautifully done and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Rachel Carson. It has a small deck outside the door and a gorgeous view of Penobscot Bay. MJ and Matt are the consummate innkeepers! They are friendly, know the area and the restaurants, and are very helpful. The breakfasts are amazing! Matt makes the best French toast on the planet. The fruit is always fresh and delicious, the muffins and scones are delightful, as are the afternoon treats! We have been vacationing at the Inn for several years. We have never been disappointed! Camden/Lincolnville is a beautiful area, with great shops and restaurants. We highly recommend the Inn at Sunrise Point.|

My wife and I made our 4th trip up to Lincolnville from southern Ct and as always, had a wonderful experience. In the past we have stayed in Hopper Cottage which we love. This year we moved to larger cottage facing the water and enjoyed the extra space. The Inn is an absolute gem. It sparkles!! Matt and MJ (and Mary) are such great attentive hosts. Matt's breakfasts are to die for!! My bride loves to exercise so the 3/4 mile uphill gravel driveway is the perfect spot for a energizing walk. Had an excellent relaxing massage with Kate. And once again enjoyed our time in the honor bar where we always meet interesting folk! We booked our return....same time next year!! Thanks guys!!

Words don't do justice to the charm and gracious hospitality that this property offers! Every detail has been considered and is orchestrated with an ease that makes you truly feel at home. The staff... MJ, Matt, and Mary are kind and thoughtful hosts. A few highlights... the grounds are lush & quiet, breakfast is absolutely delicious as are the baked sweets in the afternoon, accommodations are well-appointed and the bed was most comfortable, Camden is a few short miles away and is a quaint harbor town with dining, shops & art galleries. We are already planning our return to this idyllic place!

Our stay at the Inn at Sunrise Point was delightful from beginning to end. Matt and MJ are wonderful proprietors of this property. The room was very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious, the service was exceptional, and the setting was peaceful and relaxing. Unfortunately, while we were there, the weather was not the best - foggy and rainy. However, it did not deter us from getting out to experience the area, and certainly didn't detract from the enjoyment of the Inn. We will definitely be back for our next trip to the area!

We recently completed a trip through the northeast staying at several very nice inns. Inn at Sunrise Point was my favorite. The location, solitude, breakfasts, attention to detail and knowledge of the staff were incredible. Both MJ and Mary did a great job of providing input on area sights, meals and activities. It was a great stay. Will definitely be back.

From the moment that we were greeted and checked in by Mary until we had to reluctantly leave this relaxing property, we were enveloped with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The sunrise views of Penobscot Bay set the tone for a relaxing day and the eager anticipation of delicious three course gourmet breakfast. The owners, MJ and Matt, are passionate about their property and the product that they deliver. You will not find a better bed and breakfast on the coast of Maine.

The inn at Sunrise Point was AMAZING! MJ and Matt were such gracious and wonderful hosts and their Inn was BEAUTIFUL! The room was large, comfortable and very clean. Views were spectacular and the breakfast was DELICIOUS. MJ and Matt guided us as far as things to do and see in the area as well. Their hospitality was wonderful and much appreciated! Oh...and can't forget the homemade cookies each afternoon and the cozy bar area with the fireplace! We enjoyed a game of scrabble and wine after dinner. Don't miss out on staying at the Inn on Sunrise Point!

We stayed at the Inn at Sunrise Point for the first time in early 2023. We fell in love with everything about Sunrise Point and have returned 2 additional times. Every room is unique, luxurious and very comfortable. The breakfast each morning is perfection and the Hosts Matt and MJ are amazing - always helpful with great ways to explore the area. Mary who greets you as you arrive makes you feel welcome and like you are visiting a favorite family member. We will be making Inn at Sunrise Point part of our yearly travel plan. It is exceptional.
