We had the pork chops with maple carrots and baked potato. The soup of the day was a delicious creamy butternut squash soup. Generous portions, great service. Seemed as if the staff worked together to make sure we were taken care of. Sat by a window with fall foliage outside. Even saw 4 deer! Best restaurant in Speculator! We enjoyed the quietness and the amazing hikes nearby.
The food was so amazing and the server, Mindy, was very nice and gave me 2 extra packets of cheese. Also we were going to get a dessert, we told her but then changed our minds, but later she came with the dessert so we got it for free. She was very kind, and at the end she also gave us chocolates. So I definitely recommend this place!
Took a trip up to the Wells area for a small vacation with friends. Stumbled across this little gem on our way. Staff were very nice, atmosphere inside was great, and the food was spectacular! I tried the Hot Roast Turkey. Would love to stop back!
Delicious lunch while traveling from Burlington VT to Syracuse NY. Staff and server were so pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the buffalo chicken sandwich and Cobb salad and excellent onion rings. Highly recommend this lovely stop!
We ate lunch. Everyone was so nice. Steak appetizer was delicious. I believe it is actually an entrée. Chicken and fish sandwiches were delicious. Ceasar wrap had WAY too much dressing and chicken fingers were good. Fries did not seem freshly fried but everything else was HOT and delicious.

Finally after a few years of trying we finally got to try the food here. It was good service was excellent. The table had a compass on it and it was pointed the correct direction by fluke or not we where impressed hope to make it back next summer.

Super fun area for kids of all ages! Creative Halloween decorations and scavenger hunt styled self-directed activity (in October) while peering into Route 66 village buildings. Thank you for such a creative way to entertain weary traveling children!
Slopes were perfect for our family of 6, with all different skill levels. It's not too big to get lost at, but more than enough trails to have fun. Staff was great. Onsite snow tubing is a great addition to the trip.

Great place tucked away in Speculator. Looks cozy before you even get inside. Once inside the main area, it's like a cozy kitchen/living room in a cabin, and then it keeps going to more seating in the back! Much bigger than it looks, but doesn't fee
Stopped at Timberline for a coffee while traveling through the ADK. Excellent place to grab fresh, homemade food and delicious coffee drinks. This will be a regular stop for us when traveling in the area. Highly recommended.
