Inn At Rivers Edge Marina - Bed & breakfast in Forked River - 223 E Lacey Rd, USA

We had a beautiful anniversary weekend at The Inn. The breakfast was fresh and sumptious. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the captain's room which has a great river view and a nice extra sitting area. There are lots of things to do in the Pinelands and at the shore.

My husband and I decided to go away for Memorial Weekend and chose this inn in Forked River as our destination. And I am so happy we did! Our room was cozy, clean, and what a view overlooking the river and marina. It also had a small balcony where we could sit and relax, again with a beautiful view. The bathroom was huge and well-appointed. Patty made us a delicious breakfast each morning, she was a gracious hostess. Captain’s Inn restaurant, a very good one, is next door and Eno’s Pond Park nearby. No driving necessary. Absolutely perfect long weekend.

I had a wonderful experience staying here at this clean home with a beautiful view. Patti is a gracious host, a true example of excellent hospitality. She prepared delicious gourmet breakfasts and was extremely accomodating. I felt so very welcomed, safe, comfortable and completely relaxed. I will definitely be going back!

Patty is a wonderful and gracious host. Our room was cozy, quiet and very, very clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. We stayed in the Lacy Room which was very clean and very comfortable. We do not normally stay at a bed and breakfast but we would definitely stay again. We also loved Patty’s dog.||Thank you

Patty is a wonderful, gracious host. Our room was cozy, quiet and very, very clean. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. We stay facing the river and watched boats come and go. It was like staying at the home of an old friend. It was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and we would definitely stay again the next time we’re in the area. A plus is Patty’s dog, who met us at our car and actually walked us to the front door.

I don't know where to start maybe a note to the new owners. Run!!! Patti wanted nothing to do with us from the start and sabotage our stay. When we tried to book my husband called no answer so he left his number. I went online to view availability and there was. While I was booking online my husband got a call back and Patti said I didn't mean to call you. My husband quickly asked before she hung up on him if there was availability. Her responce was no and hung up. I was online and booking reservations after doing so we get a call back 30 minutes later from Patti did you make reservations I thought I had that shut down. Were selling the new owners aren't taking reservations. After some discussion she called the new owners they said take them. We showed up today our 1st bnb I'm so excited, short lived. We walk up dogs are barking inside the doors locked no one is answering the door bell. After 5 minutes and searching the web for a number and more door bell ringing the door is opened. Were greater not friendly by Patti, she brings us upstairs saying that's my dog the other behind closed doors is a puppy that's barking like crazy. We get 5 feet in the house and we're sweating the house is 90 degrees I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. We climb to the 2nd floor I'm sweating what's going on here??? The room is nice but it's hot. She shows us remotes for the TV gives us keys and she's gone. I wish I could give more info but this is getting long winded. We hunt down Patti ask if there's an ac in the room or something she tells us the ac is on in the house. At the time we didn't realize we were standing outside next to the ac unit. It was not running. We walked down to the tekki bar yo discuss this heat issue decided I can't sleep in a 90 degree room went back and I heard the ac running. Patti lied it was never on and she didn't want us there. I WILL NEVERE TRUST ANOTHER BNB AGAIN.!!@!! If the new owners care and would like the whole story call me please.

This was our second time staying here. We love it. The rooms are beautiful, beds are so comfortable, the little details are so appreciated , like robes in the closet, water in the fridge, and some snacks for midnight raid. Breakfast is fabulous our host Patty is an amazing cook, and the way is it is presented was wonderful. The views are spectacular. There is a restaurant just next door that serves wonderful seafood as well as other items. We only live 45 mins away but when I come and stay here, I feel as if I left the state :) very relaxing. Bonus Patty has a very cute puppy named Jane...love her. Great place.

We stayed here to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and it was great! Patty and Jane were the very best hosts! Location is right off the river, close to a very good restaurant and about a half hour from the beach. Our room was clean and comfortable. Patty made us fresh fruit and granola as well as unlimited peach waffles for breakfast. It was the perfect relaxed and cozy spot for a quick getaway. We highly recommend it and hope to be back soon!
