Inn At Pinewood - Bed & breakfast in Eagle River - 1820 Silver Forest Ln, USA

The owners are wonderful, welcoming people, making you feel at home right away. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful deck looking over the tranquil lake. There a lots of games in the common room, and we usually have a competitive game of disc shuffle board. The beach is sandy, and the water cool and inviting after a hot day biking or hiking. We love playing with the 2 resident labs, who will always bring you a stick! The breakfast was lovely and delicious. This was our fourth visit, and we are never disappointed!

I stayed at this B&B for my birthday weekend and I absolutely loved it! My husband and I had stayed here 10/8 - 10/10; the weather was perfect and the changing leaves were beautiful. The innkeeper took great care of us, she did her very best to make sure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The food was delicious, the decor was fascinating to look at, and the room was comfortable (albeit a bit cold at night since the furnace wasn't on just yet). If we ever decide to stay in the Eagle River area again, I will definitely keep this place in mind!

We returned to the Inn at Pinewood to attend Eagle River’s Cranberry Fest in early October 2014. The 1930’s era log lodge was the perfect complement to the fall colors and bracing evening temperatures. Kevin insured there was a comforting fire in the large hearth, setting the stage for conversation with our hosts and other guests as darkness fell.||||Ideally set at the end of the road on quiet Carpenter Lake we enjoyed walking the property and lakeshore even if a bit late in the year to go boating. Each of the eight rooms have private baths but each offer differing amenities, some with fireplaces and hot tubs. All open to private or shared balcony areas supplied with deck chairs and decorated with northwoods charm as is the rest of the Inn. The large game room is not to be missed and a great place to interact with other guests, play pool, darts, classic tavern-style shuffle board, or board games. We were lulled to sleep both by the music of gentle rainfall and a very comfortable bed.||||Coffee and hot tea were available shortly after 7:00am and followed at 8:15 with a wonderful breakfast of assorted freshly baked muffins, fruits, sausages, egg dish and cheesy potato bake accompanied by fruit juices; served in a classically rustic dining room, a glass wall allowing full views of the beautiful foliage as the fireplace helped to take off the morning chill.||||We can’t say enough about the wonderful hosting by Geri and Kevin and their family through whose work the Inn glowed and whose consideration and conversation made this our most enjoyable stay of all.

Quiet and relaxing, the Inn at Pinewood is a hidden gem in the north woods. We had planned on camping with friends at nearby Franklin Lake in the Nicolet National Forest; however, with all day rain predicted shortly--we chose the inn. We were so happy we did. Our room overlooking Lake Carpenter was comfortable and cozy. It had a sliding door opening out to a common balcony offering views of the lake and woods. Early one morning I saw a mother deer and two fawns strolling from the parking lot into the woods.|| Our hosts Kevin and Geri Lee met any needs we had ranging from an extra hairdryer to bottles of water. They created artistic breakfasts with such items as just baked cranberry maple scones enhanced with maple butter, a large fresh fruit platter, and specialty egg dishes.|| With rain predicted the second day, Kevin invited our friends from the campground to join us and unwind in the inn’s common areas. Kevin lit a fire as we played table top shuffle board. During the afternoon we chatted and drank wine with our friends, and Geri thoughtfully surprised us with a warm plate of chocolate chip muffins. Touched by Kevin and Geri’s hospitality, we definitely plan to return.

My first visit to the Inn was just what I was hoping for - a quiet, restful night away. The location on Carpenter Lake is lovely and a great place to swim or make use of the boats they have to rent. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would be happy to have a repeat visit and with the cabin decor and public gathering areas, I think my family would enjoy it as well.

My family rented the inn for a reunion and we had a great time! The place was beautiful!

We stayed at the house next to the Inn and thought it was wonderful. The house is updated and comfortable for our 3 family's of 14. Each of the 3 levels has a bathroom and bedrooms. The kids were able to play billboards, darts, and shuffleboard at the Inn. Also, the fishing is tremendous on Carpenter lake.

Great place to stay in the Eagle River area if you are looking to get away from the crowds up north. Very quiet and quaint we enjoyed the inn even though the weather did not cooperate. Many fine restaurants in the area and Patty is familiar with most of them for a recommendation. A fine breakfast was served and was much more than I needed. Overall, a wonderful, relaxing experience.
