Stunning location and landscaping! It feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The staff was so kind and welcoming|and always with a smile on their face. What a breakfast buffet! The best ever!! Our room was large and clean with a partial water view and a balcony to enjoy the view. This hotel is a little slice of heaven!!

Overall, this is a solid option if you’re looking for a resort feel in northern Michigan. ||That being said, I would not pay peak prices to stay here. The rooms are on the verge of being outdated, the pool facility is not equipped to handle the inundation of families on the weekends, and the food is exorbitantly overpriced. For example, while breakfast was “included” in our rate, it would have cost $35/person. Vintage Chophouse (onsite restaurant) was decent, I think the service was great. Would recommend Nomad in Bay Harbor proper, though, for better food options. On service, I think the front desk and restaurant staff were lovely, but for $1K+ per night, you should have some form of poolside service.||Now for positives, I really loved the daybeds on the beach + the grounds are well maintained. As with most beaches in this part of the state, it’s pretty rocky, but a beautiful view nonetheless.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best Marriott properties I have visited. It is a beautiful property surrounded by such natural beauty, and my friends and I enjoyed every minute. Each staff member we encountered was gracious and accommodating, and we even received a personal thank you note from Theresa and Alexandra for staying at the Inn. We booked a two-room suite which included three beds, two full baths, a fireplace, full kitchen, and best, of all, a lake view. The beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were very clean and the nights were quiet. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. It is a large property but felt quaint and inviting. We did not have an opportunity to enjoy the spa or restaurant, but they both looked amazing. I cannot recommend the Inn enough.

Great weekend getaway. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant as well as breakfast in the morning. The buffet was one of the best breakfast buffets that I’ve been to in a long time. Also spent the morning at the spa with the facial. The service was lovely. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. I even found several Petoskey stones right on the beach.

Not very often I rate 5 across all ratable sections but this place is very nice and the staff are truly awesome. Great food and a lot of family fun both on site and around the area within 10-30 min drive. Also the Tesla chargers were great when charging my Rivian.

This place is just amazing. The staff, services, view, location are second to none. Dinner at The Vintage Chophouse last night was phenomenal. Special was prime rib which was prepared perfectly and enough for 2 people to share. Plus we had enough to take to our room for the next day. The service was perfect, especially Nate and the hostess. Bartender was fabulous also.

The room was beautiful! The amenities were amazing. The staff were all so friendly and kind! We especially liked Alex and Julia who checked us in and Kathy who checked us out. Kathy always has such great tips! The Bellman Dan has always been very nice and greets us with a smile anytime we arrive. Dan always asks if there is anything he can get us. Mason, Alex, Mark, Jeff and Sam are also just as pleasant! Chef Al is an awesome chef and makes great omelets! Chef Al makes us feel right at home! Monica from Housekeeping is always over the top! We have known Monica for years and she is always so kind and full of life! When you see her, she is always busy making sure the place stands out like no other~she is the hardest worker around. Thank you all for making our stay back home so enjoyable!

This is my favorite place to visit in Michigan and possibly America. I've stayed here atleast 6x and it is worth the price. Breakfast is amazing! The pool is heated to a nice temperature so its cozy when outside temp is <60. The rooms are awesome, the staff is great, and nothing but good vibes here!
