I cannot recommend Infinite Brazilian Jujitsu Academy enough. As a 60-year-old man who has maintained relatively good condition but started to feel a bit older in my hips and flexibility, I was looking for a challenge that would not only engage me physically but also mentally. I had always been interested to learn more about Jujitsu but was hesitant to try it at my age due to the fear of potential injuries. However, after hearing great things about Infinite Jujitsu, Jeff and the coaches, I decided to give it a try. From the moment I contacted Jeff, he made it clear that my safety and individual needs would be a top priority. He assured me that I could join the fundamental classes and progress at my own pace, without putting unnecessary strain on my joints. This level of personalized attention, understanding and accommodation was exactly what I was looking for. Prior to joining Infinite Jujitsu, I had experience in various martial arts when I was much younger. However, I had never come across a martial art, coupled with such supportive coaches and a training program that allowed me to grow at my own pace. In just two months of being in the program, I have already completed close to 20 classes. I have noticed significant physical growth and increased flexibility in areas that I never thought possible at my age. The instructors prioritize safety and ensure that you only engage in rolling/grappling if you are comfortable doing so. The focus is on avoiding injury and learning the art of Jujitsu at a pace that suits each individual. What sets Infinite Jujitsu apart is the strong sense of community and camaraderie that exists among Jeff, the coaches, and the students. In every class and experience, there is a wonderful feeling of belonging, regardless of one's capabilities. This inclusive environment fosters a positive learning experience for everyone. I can confidently say that Infinite Jujitsu offers a unique combination of physical fitness, personal development, mental focus, confidence-building, and a sense of belonging. From the very first day, I felt welcomed and supported in my journey. If you have ever been curious or desired to learn a practical self-defense and sport, I highly recommend taking a few classes at Infinite Jujitsu. It was a bucket list item for me, and it has exceeded my wildest dreams. I have no intention of giving it up for as long as I am physically able to continue. I have been training at Infinite for a little over three years now and I cannot recommend this place enough. Coach Jeff and Coach Evgeny are very accomplished and knowledgeable coaches who are always striving to be the best coaches they can be to their students. Our school is primarily a Gi jiu-jitsu based gym, however we also do offer a No-Gi class, led by Coach Evgeny. I personally would recommend everyone give the class a try along with training in the Gi, as I feel it has really helped my game and could really help to develop anyone's too. Coach Evgeny teaches the class skills/ concepts that are easily translatable to the Gi, and that compliment whatever concept Coach Jeff is covering in the Gi class. Moreover, all the coaches not only care about your growth on the mats, but they also care about your personal development off the mats too. At infinite you're not simply a student at the gym, you are a member of our family.

This place has honestly become my second home, i train here everyday even if I’m late. In the most non dramatic way, this place has saved my life, I have severe depression and if it weren’t for “infinite fighting concepts bjj” i don’t know where I would be right now, I came from hanging out on the block with gangs to having a brotherhood with people I haven’t known for a long time. I’ve built such a unique brotherhood/ friendships with the coaches as well as the students, these coaches will make you feel at home trust me! No matter the height the weight class or age i 100% guarantee that you will feel welcomed and cared for. I used to weigh 270, now I weigh 225! All with the help of Brazilian jiu jitsu! I love it here so much, I can’t name 1 single bad thing about this environment, the coaches aren’t rough, aren’t disrespectful, all joyful and respectful. I don’t regret a single thing and it’s a very unique and lovable experience! So get off the couch and come train!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been at Infinite BJJ for 2 and half years. I have unfortunately left last week because my family and I are moving out of state. I would otherwise have stuck to that club forever. Jeff Gordon, the Master, is awesome. He has created an atmosphere and environment that are friendly and safe, while teaching awesome BJJ. His club is not about money, but about care and building relationships. Jeff is really a great and caring human being and has built a team of coaches dedicated to help the club and its members thrive. I was enrolled there with my two sons and they really enjoyed BJJ and intend to continue training where we move. I can't thank Jeff and his team enough for the positive impact that BJJ had in my life and on my kids. I have lost 25 pounds, built some good cardio, BJJ skills, and feel really great. My kids have also built great techniques and confidence in themselves. This is the best club in the area!! I have lived in Maryland 25 years, and Infinite BJJ is the place to be and train. All the instructors have many decades of experience in BJJ, Judo and wrestling, striking arts, etc. with many years of competition. It’s easy to get hooked here because they have practical, straightforward answers for all your questions; all the instructors give attention to you and your areas that you need work on—whether that’s physical work, endurance, technique, mental strength, etc. You’re not just a name here. I came to Infinite four years ago… and never left. I knew nothing about Jiu Jitsu. Zero. Zilch. Nada. I figured it would be a great workout (and it is), but what I’d never have guessed is how this sport has changed my life. If you’re interested in Jiu Jitsu, take the time to check this place out. If you’re not sure if the sport would be a good fit for your current abilities, please consider the following… Anyone can do Jiu Jitsu. A friend encouraged me to sign up. “Come on.” she said. “It’ll be fun.” she said. I was skeptical at first. (I sweated so much that at the end of each class I had to peel my clothes off like a wet bathing suit.) Despite giving it all I had, it seemed as though I was going nowhere. As class after class sped by, I discovered that Jui Jitsu takes discipline, effort, and commitment. I found that I was far from being in shape. But like anything in life, the more I invested the more it gave back. The staff at Infinite is exceptional. Instructors have the experience, dedication, training, and skills needed for anyone to get started. (Even an old lady like me.) This sport teaches much more than grappling. For me, Jiu Jitsu turned out to be a real “sleeper.” (Meaning that at the time I enrolled, I assumed a lot, knew nothing, and ended up being very surprised.) Sure, like I mentioned before, it’s a great work out. Yes, it teaches valuable self-defense skills. But to progress, you also need to learn how to deal with and overcome adversity. Learning how to push through failure (no one is perfect) and weathering difficulties is what produces success (both on the mat and in life). Instructors at this gym teach discipline, patience, and commitment to a goal in a brotherhood-oriented setting. Not all gyms are equal. This gym is well run, the prices are competitive, and the atmosphere is professional. I’ve found students to be friendly and enthusiastic. Workshops are periodically conducted by industry-known professionals. There’s good energy here. Staff are interested in your success and 110% committed to the sport. I’d recommend Infinite if you’re new to the sport and want to give Jiu Jitsu a try. I’d recommend Infinite if you already know the sport and are searching for a gym with a good vibe or if you’re interested in competing. Take a minute and check them out. Great atmosphere.
