This place is not representative of a Sun Outdoors establishment. The photos on the website do not reflect reality. No picnic tables, no fire pits. There is absolutely nothing to do here except use the pool which is over run by full timers. Over 75% full timers who are friendly but this is no vacation spot. Staffed only m-f regular business hours. I will say the tv pads on the one street for vacationers are nice but really that’s all
Great RV park, quiet and clean. Wind blows and you have a breeze in the afternoons. Some spaces are better than others depending on your rig/coach. We have a class A with a slide and couldn’t back any further because of the pole on our big slide side meaning we had to park our vehicle in their clubhouse parking. The gate code changes every/other Tuesday and they didn’t tell us-luckily a resident was coming in at the same time.
Very surprised this is a Sun RV property. More like an old KOA turned trailer park. There are two newer nicer rows with concrete pads and fake grass but that is only 10% of the park. The remaining consisted of permanent Indio residents that have kids, living in older rv’s, Modular’s, and mobile homes. Don’t stay here
We love this place! It’s clean, secure, and we feel so comfortable here. We stay several times per year for extended periods of time. This time we stayed 32 days. We feel at home with our little pup and we will always recommend it.
The pools and spas are clean, all laundry facilities are clean and operating. We even love the grounds keepers!!!
Have stayed here last February and this February (2022 & 2023). The newest part of the park is quite nice, however the older area has a lot of long term rentals and we have noticed a decline in the overall park in just the past 12 months, with multiple police visits into the park and troubling exchanges at the laundry with unstable residents.
When the prices are applied as per the rates given, it is a very cost effective park to stay at. However there are pricing irregularities that neither staff nor the park manager care to discuss when asked.
I would advise you to get a printed invoice at checkin or within 1-3 days after and take a photo of your site’s electrical meter to have a record of its reading at the start of your stay. I have experienced being charged for electric after the fact when I was told that it was included at arrival and check in.
Very doubtful that we will return a third time based our observations, experiences and staff interactions from this year.
This park used to be the best in Indio. People are friendly and it’s close to all amenities.
I’m only giving 3 stars as they have gone downhill in what is expected inside the park.
You get nit picked over the small little things, yet they allow these people ( pics attached) to stay in the park with garbage and clutter everywhere!! They have been here for quite sometime, and nothing has been done about it. I feel bad for the people that have to look at it all day!Just because this is the older side of the park, doesn’t mean we have to look at a garbage dump when walking to the gym.
This may be our last year, if it continues to deteriorate. Please take the criticism, and do better.
Very safe, secure and clean RV park with grass beside the level paved sites. Excellent facilities including heated swimming pools and a clean, working hot tub. Lots of lounge chairs at the pools, outdoor shower and very clean and hot indoor showers that are included (no tokens or coins needed). Library, kitchen, and multiple gas barbecues. Recycling of cans and cardboard, Most impressive is that all the sites are tidy and clean, even though there are a number of long term (or maybe full time) residents . No homelessness or junk. Laundry on site is $1.50 to wash. Movie night, games night and Sunday football in the clubhouse. Great place to stay in the Palm Springs area. No picnic tables at the sites but tables and chairs in the barbecue areas.
We didn't stay here in our RV and only visited the social hall for a gathering after a funeral. The staff was friendly directing us with a good attitude. The visit went so smoothly we never even thought about it, really. Park looked clean and had attractive landscape.
We have visited Indian Waters for the last 12 years. We started out on a long weekend and are now up to 2 months at a time! The park managers, Tony and Shannon, are amazing! They have made a huge difference in the park the last couple of years. It ha
It's our 2nd time here. The place is just what you need. Grounds are clean, check in is simple, walking area is great, pond is nice with the ducks, dog stations with poop bags, close to shopping, pool and jacuzzi are amazing. Very quiet and dark at n
I am so thankful we came across this studio two years ago! We started with the bully-proof week session and here we are a few years later, enjoying this amazing community of Gracie jiu jitsu. Cameron is such a down to earth guy, he works so well with
Great clubhouse with lots to do! They have four billiards tables, a cafe, library, recreation rooms, a pool and gym, and probably a lot more. You have to live in Sun City Shadow Hills or be invited by a homeowner to take advantage.
