Nicest park I've ever stayed in. Level sites with full hookup and a cement patio. Very well maintained and quiet and comfortable. Staff was beyond outstanding and service was super. I gave 5 stars for service and I honestly do not give 5 stars for anything. This is probably my first time ever. Lots for kids to do and everything was clean and well managed. We had our golf cart but there really isn't anywhere to go except in circles around the park. The park itself is quite full. Not quite 'sardine can' camping but very close in some spots. Also very pricey. Overall a great campground and nice weekend.
This RV campground EXCEEDED our expectations! It was beautiful and clean in every way. The property is gorgeous and filled with trees. Each site had plenty of room and is convenient to everything; the store, restrooms, trails, etc. We had 26 members of our family and friends on this trip and we all loved it. Some had campers, some stayed in the darling cabins. The trails were fun for the kids and dogs! The campground is close to everything, so much so that we didn't get it all in. You could easily spend a week or more and still have so much to do! The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely plan another trip to this campground again next year!
Great location, great service, and the whole place was very nice! Pros: great location, very well maintained and clean, the staff were so nice and friendly!!!!, They had donuts and coffee complimentary, the store was great! With lots of goodies. The pool was small but great and clean, and they picked up the trash which I always appreciate. And the road was paved which I like. And only few cons: the number of wasps.. They were everywhere! Apparently it was a strange year for them so that couldn't be helped. And I noticed sewer smell near the kids playground so we didn't play there long. We had a great time and would come back again!
Wonderful park with friendly efficient staff and well maintained facilities. We stayed in a pull through RV site and there was plenty of room for our coach and full wall slides on both sides. The grounds are clean and well cared for. While pads are unpaved there was no problem getting level. Water had good pressure and maintained our regulator setting. The location is great, deeply wooded (well trimmed for tall RVs) and remote feeling but close to local attractions and trips to Lake Michigan/Petosky are only a short drive. Reasonably priced for full hookups. We would stay here again if in the area.
This family owned campground is ideally situation between Indian River and Topinabee with close access to both Mullet and Burt Lakes and a very short drive to I-75 for extended North and South travel. The lots are roomy, amenities plentiful, and the best service you could ever ask for. Everything is well-kept and extremely clean. They built a new camp store with anything you may have forgotten along with a little grocery and cute memorabilia. I stayed for 6 weeks and it was absolute bliss the entire time. I could not recommend them more highly!
First time camping at Indian River RV Resort but won’t be our last! We’ve been camping for 33 years and this was one of the best experiences to date. Enjoyed the swimming pool, playing horseshoes and cornhole, walking on the trail and campfires in the evening. The few times we called the front office with requests we were responded to within 10 minutes or less. We felt valued and well cared for. We had a fun and relaxing time and are already planning a return trip.
The camp ground was ok. The bathrooms were very clean and the office personnel were great. We did use their laundry services which included newer W/D machines.||My reason for the 3 rating is that while the sites had very little grass, there were numerous trees along the roads of the campground, making it hard to maneuver lager rigs into or out of the sites and when going around corners. When my wife made a comment of the trees to an employee, their response said it would be too expensive to remove the trees. Granted this area of Michigan has a limited camping season, I would have hoped they would make continued improves to make the grounds big rig friendly. As it was, we were pulling a 37’ FW.
I booked a (Supersite per their website) in early March 2023. We have never been so close to anyone at a campground. We are used to gravel, sand, rock and cement patio sites this was dirt and pines needles and though adequate for our travel trailer was less than 6-8 feet from adjoining campsite. Lovely elderly couple with a very well behaved pup but it was very hard to be discreet about pump out. Beautiful trees, great pool for grandchildren, nice walking trails, good camp store. Multiple dogs used the tree and fence next to our trailer to leave their calling card behind. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. IMO some of these sites need to be reevaluated due to being very narrow width. Length of sites was good. Giving you three stars due to being way too close to neighbor. Sons site was adjacent to ours and was perfect.

Probably my new favorite place when I visit Michigan. The service is super professional and the employees know what goes in each dish. The steaks are cooked the way you like them. Their bread is delicious. Each meal came out hot. There were no mista
Conveniently located where Indian River and Mullet Lake meet, this is a great place to refuel your watercraft. Staff is prompt, super-friendly and dispenses fuel for you. Credit cards (and cash) are both accepted.
We stopped at Christopher's Cafe on the way home for brunch. My honey had the chicken fried steak and corned beef hash and I had the meat lovers waffle! Absolutely delicious! This is definitely on our list to visit again!

This is a must go to for your dessert in Indian River! Portions are large and prices are great! Outdoes any other place in Northern Michigan for ice cream. Lots of places to sit outside, park is across the street - located right in the hub of town.

We havenât even camped there yet, but my conversations with owner Jen sealed the deal. We are coming as a large family with grandchildren and Jen was a wonderful 1st impression. She talked to me on phone (which she didnât have to do) while she wa
