Great place, especially nice to hike up Paine Creek along Seeley Road and watch fishermen going for Steelhead.
Went on a cool Thursday morning; it was secluded and quiet. I wasn’t disappointed for my first time there. 😁Uhm, wear waterproof shoes for when you have to go across the trickling water bodies around.
Me and my girl have been going to pretty much all the Metro Parks in the Greater Cleveland/ Lake County Geauga and Ashtabula counties . This one is pretty cool if you ask me, it ranks in the top 3 for me and her enjoy my friends enjoy.
River, trees, and nice place to hike. We didnt explore the whole park yet but will return. Would br an excellent spot to build a single track bike park.
Beautiful park! Perfect place for hiking. We went all the way down the path and ended up at the river. Will definitely be coming back!
A nice park from the bit I've seen of it, seems to be pretty well maintained. From my understanding the road is still closed a bit down, so I only walked around the trails closest to the entrance. I also scoped out the campsite, and it seems like a nice spot by the river.
Excited to go back and explore more!
Saw a lot of wildlife and enjoyed catching plenty of crayfish! I let them go of course. A lot of fun for a day trip.
This park is a different feel from the other metro parks we've visited. Much quieter and under a more dense canopy. The trek felt much more serene and eerie at the same time.

I absolutely love this place. I was just driving by and decided to stop 8n for a sandwich and a coffee. I am so grateful that I did. The service here was amazing. The atmosphere was out of this world, so many happy people are just having a good time
