Indian Mound Motel - Motel in Fairmont City - 4700 Collinsville Rd, USA

The only reason this place isn’t getting 5 stars is because the key card stopped working all 3 nights of my stay so I had to wake the staff to reactivate it. Also, the owner lady was rude. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the male owner was helpful. For the people complaining in the reviews, you were expecting a hotel experience when you in fact paid for a motel experience. Pics of room after our stay. This is a good place to rest your head.

Positive: Front desk open 24/7 although we woke them up. It had a refrigerator, and the price. Negative: It was very dirty. There was hair all over the bathroom and at least 4 spiders in the shower and bathroom.

Positive: Location to race track where we enjoyed our weekend Negative: Bathroom door stuck, hard to close

Roads currently closed nearby, air con super loud. However bed was soft/comfortable and room was clean.

If you need an inexpensive accommodation close to st Louis, this little motel is a good find. The area is very run down though and no restaurant close by. |The room was very clean and we have no complaints. Staff wasn’t the friendliest though. |Not a place I can whole heartedly recommend, but I am giving it 4 stars as the room was really totally fine.

Positive: Indian Mound Motel is off the beaten path, in a rather impoverished area, but it's clean enough and it's very quiet; the staff was friendly. I like drive-up-to-the-room motels, not interior corridors, and accept them being older and not updated. Negative: "" Negative: ""

It’s decent for the price and a escape for me when I don’t want to bothered. It’s close to the highway love the pyramids despite they are called mounds but when you know you know that’s all I’ll say on that note. It’s not the Ritz nor the Marriott but ok. I would recommend if you are looking to stay a couple of nights. Downfall no extra pillows, towels or blankets so come prepared.

This place was simple but very clean. I swear for the price I was worried cause it was all we could find so late at night. Honestly if I had to stay again I wouldn't be upset. The rooms are clean besides a little dusty inside the drawers. They have tv, microwave and mini fridge. The beds are not huge but comfortable. The bedding was clean and for the price I literally was amazed at this place.
