A large, beautiful, restful area along the Providence River. You can sit and enjoy the view. Or stroll along the river or run if you like. I also saw lots of dogs, the owners all carrying doggybags. Also, near it, the Providence Ferry to Newport leaves and arrives here. Especially the highway overpass is really nice. I had driven under it many times without ever being up there.
Love this area, full of beautiful sea creatures and birds that come to say hello. In the early spring there are lions mane jellies in the water!
Beautiful park that is rich with history. Great views of the city of Providence and the George Washington Bridge. As you walk along the trails near the water there are markers that provide you with the history of yesteryears. Great place for anybody to come out and enjoy the outdoors! Also right near the bike path. Walking distance to Wickenden Street. I've even seen people fish here. There are many fields to play all kinds of sports even for children to enjoy.
Great park located in the India Point area of Providence, RI. A nice place to bike, walk, fish or take the family to. I would definitely go again the next time I am in the area. Very historic area of Providence and next to a Hilton Garden Inn.
Very beautiful place. Its better to go here during spring and summer. Take picnic mat with your friends after 7 pm in summer to enjoy dusky sky and reflection of settling sun on the water. The clean atmosphere and greenery is very enchanting. I love this park . Its 5 star rating from me.
I love it here it's just a beautiful place to visit with a playground picnic benches and the walk is beautiful along the water front
6/23 India Point Park waterfront Providence, RI. Two of us walked the park this morning while waiting to board the Ferry to Newport. Good walking area around the waters edge, stay away at night as undesirable people hang out here from what I know. Plenty of free parking, open areas and shade available.

Nice park, especially if you have dogs or kids. Cool statue, good view of the Armory, and exercise stations throughout. Also has a bocci ball court and chess/checkers boards on some of the tables. Great place to enjoy a day off.
