Imperial Sand Dunes - Tourist attraction in Brawley - 5777 CA-78, USA

A truly unique place in the United States that gives you a feeling of being in the deserts of Arabia or Egypt except for the annoying Dune buggies which apparently have rights to be there. But it's still somewhat of a dangerous situation.

Fun to drive around. Entry was free because of the season we went in. No wait, we had the dunes to ourselves except at the end there was one other person there. A very scenic place to take pictures but bring proper footwear.

As a photographer, I recommend this location for epic photos of families, couples, single portraits and more! Check out the attached photos of how amazing the images can turn out.

Magnificent place for film and photoshoot, take advantage of the light changing during dusk being reflected on the sandy dunes. ---Best to visit when its not crowded.

Thousands of people enjoying the Dunes with camping and off road vehicles

Beautiful little stop at the Yuma sand dunes. Parking locations are totally clear but we stopped in a car park near to the RVs. At the time again, it wasn’t clear where to hire an ATV, but I know it’s possible. It’s a beautiful site.

There is no TRASH FAIRY! Secure the litter at your campsite, winds can get very strong here. Pick up any litter you see around your campsite, when you are watching the drags, and when you visit Oldsmobile hill. If we all pick up a few extra pieces when we visit, the desert and it's creatures will be healthier and happier. Please don't litter!

These are the best dunes in the USA. I have ridden sand on 3 continents and this is as good as it gets. If you truly offroad you will need a GPS as these are over 100 miles long.
