Imperial Motel - Motel in Marquette - 2493 US-41 West, USA

This is not a bad place to stay, just a little dated and needs some upgrades. It is owned by the Cedar Motel next door. It must have been for sale and they bought it for the extra rooms. The Cedar Motel next door is very nice as we have been there twice before. That was my preference, but we're out of rooms that evening so we had to stay at the Imperial wing next door. Once they do updates, I'm sure it will be nice .

We recently booked for our group to stay at the cedar motor inn, upon arrival we learned they had purchased the imperial and that's where our room was. Rooms were clean, though a bit dated. Plumbing in a few rooms needed work, like other reviewers have stated. Some light fixtures didn't work. Overall, you get what you pay for and this room was worth the price.

Stayed at the Imperial for a conference weekend in Marquette. I have stayed there several times before, and always have comfortable and goof experience. Staff is super friendly and very helpful, and rooms are always clean and neat. The Imperial is an older Motel amongst all of the new builds in town, but is it great value and you will have a great stay.

They provided us with adjacent rooms, as requested. Very friendly folks who own the place. Large clean rooms with comfortable beds. No continental breakfast offered, but the motel is convenient to a number of restaurants, so this was no problem. Very close to a large grocery and liquor store. Right NEXT DOOR to the Hudson's Classic Grill. We were given good directions to places when we asked. We were alongside a busy main road, but we heard NOTHING in our rooms. Quite nice. I would stay here again. Good service is good service, no matter the age of the motel.

There has never been a time that I have stayed here that it has not been anything less than amazing. The owners are attentive to your needs and will do what it takes to make your stay enjoyable. The recent updated rooms are beautifully decorated and done just right. Great job Denice and Steve!!! This is the only hotel I will stay at when in town.

Once again the Imperial did not disappoint. As always the rooms are clean, and comfy. The owners are amazing and will do what’s needed to make your stay a great one. Hidden treasure in Marquette, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else

My parents used to stay at the imperial while my brother and I attended NMU prior to Marquette getting as large as it is now. (Holy WA!)!! Steve and Denise... 19yrs later remember my parents! I recently went there on a motorcycle ride around the U.P. from my parents hometown ironically. My Dad still had the Imperial Motel's card in his wallet..I called and booked the room, as I remembered it as a college student, but who remembers your parents at college, clean and simplistic. Regardless, I had problems with the bike, and the weekend was turning into a nightmare. If it wasn't for Steve and Denise being SOOOO helpful with everything it probably would have been a nightmare. Rain, bad wheels, new tires, and bad Valve on the wheel caused me to appreciate the U.P. and the Old home I used to know in Marquette. I appreciate the Imperial Motel, Steve and Denise, I will always stay there in the future!!! Awesome people, atmosphere, and down the road GREAT views...

We've been staying here for our vacation each summer for over 25 years. Exceptionally clean rooms and very quiet surroundings. Perfect for family vacations. The owners go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
