Imperial Motel - Motel in Schenectady - 927 State St, USA

I stayed there some years ago & it was horrible! I came into the room one day & got my kids settled. I took my shoes off & walked right outside the room to talk on the phone & realized there were maggots covering the parking lot & the ground all along the doors. I ran inside to put shoes on & as I'm sitting on the bed I noticed they were all over the room floor, the walls, crawling up the blankets & all. I called management & he tried spraying them with roach spray! After some back & forth he moved us to the second floor. I don't recommend this place to ANYONE. Not much has changed. It's especially not for anyone with children!

It's a ran down spot that has no remotes and desk workers with nasty attitudes that lie. It's a quick creep get away spot or a place to rest. Don't expect pristine room. Just a place to play and lay to say the least. Owners are disgusting and rude. The dont like to clean and talk to people anyway. Stay away

This place is a blessing!for people in need of housing,but its a hole in the wall, it's in need of a lot of work... It's expensive to stay here for the quality that is given to be used as such as the TV bathroom sink and and other utilities that should be updated. Ownership of this place are kind and they try hard to do their best given fact that some of the people that do stay here do not have no respect for theirselves or the stuff that's in these rooms

Disgusting! Paid $80 for a night and couldn’t sleep at all there were bugs everywhere a huge hole in the wall right next to the bed, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. When I requested a room that had been cleaned the employee rudely yelled at me “I don’t have any other rooms! You get what you have! No refunds!” I was mortified; this was not an acceptable place to sleep I would feel better at the city mission! Needless to say, I’m never coming back

Very poor experience the sheets were dirty. The bed had bed bugs very bad. They had 1 tiny light and no toilet paper. We had NO microwave. They said they have wifi but we had no wifi even given the wifi password and it did not work. The room and bathroom were not clean very poorly kept. This place needs reported to the board of health.

Same, same as Motel 6 in Albany with funds of HATAS, LDSS/HRA and much more. Too bad that system versus helping families in need prefer to sponsor and support spread not only of germs, bedbags, cockroaches but care less about personal hygiene especially NYS DOH, health department 😁😁😁. And that is actually just couple blocks from Schenectady Rivers Casino, dear guests.😁 Not much changes since 2015 for sure.

They have bedbugs in rm 106 and 107 I was bit 8 times and couldn't go to sleep looking for bugs

I was in a room where I had to put the chair up against the door and they told me they could give me. Different room when I asked . they have bedbugs , that's what was said to me . they never did that to me before until that day .. I was so upset and disappointed at the conditions of they rooms . I can clean but you know they not hiring nobody .. And that's crazy .. Cause somebody could probably do better then what you guys be doing . maybe instead you guys should fix yaa hotel up a little lotta bit hunnties that is very unsanitary .
