I can't recommend I'mmortal Kombat martial arts academy enough! Professor Cheek (both) are absolutely top-notch. Their dedication to providing high-quality training is unparalleled. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, this is the place to be. The atmosphere at the academy is always warm and inviting, and from the moment you step in, you're treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Professor(s) Cheek’s years of experience shine through in their teaching methods, making every session informative and enjoyable. I stop by and train with Professor Cheek whenever I am in the area and he and his gym are always welcoming and accommodating! Great learning environment with incredible instruction. If you find yourself in Enterprise or the surrounding area make sure you stop by for quality instruction and a great experience!
I stopped in while on TDY in Enterprise. I had a very good time. A lot of good attitude white belts and everyone seemed hungry to learn. The black belt Joshua Cheek was very nice and welcoming (and great at jiu jitsu). As someone who’s trained for 7 years at multiple locations, I’d recommend stopping in if you find yourself nearby. If you live local and are thinking about starting jiu jitsu DO IT!
The head instructor, Professor Joshua Cheek is fantastic. The place has a nice clean environment, great partners, and of course stellar instruction. This place is a credit to the Wiregrass community at large and must visit if you're out of town.
A group of us from Montgomery wanted a little out of town friendly dojo storm, and Professor Cheek was happy to have us. He gave us some great pointers for finishing that reverse triangle, and a nice move to just make those knee on bellys a little bit meaner ;P . Great facility, neat sloth theme around, even a little reptile sanctuary there, they also did some wrestling classes right after we left, then tacos next door can't be bad to finish the day.
Very welcoming for open mat today. Professor Cheek sets an amazing vibe for rolling, and gave some great knowledge and points for improvement. Will be back soon!
Joshua gave me a great deal while I was briefly in the area for a few weeks. The gym had lots of people of all ability levels and everyone was very accommodating. Joshua broke down the all the moves in a very effective way that made learning the moves very easy. Definitely the place to check out if you’re in the area!
Me and my 11 year old son are both training at I’mmortal and I can’t say enough good things about not only Professor Cheek but all the people that attend the classes as well. You will learn top notch jiu jitsu but also feel like you are welcome and part of a team. If you are looking to train jiu jitsu this is the place to be.
