Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites - Hotel in Honolulu - 1777 Ala Moana Blvd, USA

From start to finish it was excellent. Room was perfect and spacious. Housekeeping was wonderful, everyday they replaced towels and clean your room. Concierge was so friendly and helpful. You get two water bottles and an ice cream cone daily. Perfect location! Great amenities! Will definitely come back here.

Very good hotel and very comfortable! Prices are reasonable overall, and the room is huge and beds are very comfortable. We had a great sleep!! And the views are great from the room, and it's nearby various stores downtown, and right next to the beach. Note, there is valet parking, and they are quick / efficient! Great hotel overall and definitely recommend it.

Stayed in a condo in the building. The views were spectacular. It was convenient to have the cafe and mini market in the lobby area. The location was amazing- everything you want to see is within walking distance (beach, main shopping strip, restaurants, etc). The neighborhood is nice for running or walking, and it’s close to the Ala Moana Park. Parking is a bit pricey but there are cheaper close by parking options.

Beautiful location. Friday fireworks, beach, and waterfront. Far walk to shopping centers but lots of Uber and taxis available. ||Kitchen was awesome to have. Breakfast in the room and even made a few lunches for the beach. ||Our room had a water view and overlooked the Luau nextdoor (that was a fun surprise)!||Clean. ||Nice supply of lotion/coffee/tea/soaps.||Front desk helpful with ice and extra towels.

Location is perfect, not loud and stressful as central Waikiki and everything walking distance. Hotel staff were helpful and professional, lounge was comfortable and has a great little coffee shop. Rooms were spacious with breathtaking views. Beach just outside was less crowded than Waikiki and there’s a surf spot right in front where locals and visitors share.

We had bedbugs, the hotel did pay to wash our clothes and gave us a different room but we still were very stressed out the entire time of our trip. Also, there is a daily amenities fee for towels and water. But, out of 10 days, we only were able to get towels on 5 days, and water may by 7 days. The front desk sends you to the pool desk and the pool desk sends you to the front desk for towel. I can understand if its occasionally, but they were out EVERY day. BUY more towels.

Great value for a beachfront location with sunset views. We stayed six nights in a ‘Luxury Sunset Ocean View w/ Full Kitchen’ room. It was on the top floor with a magnificent view over the ocean and marina. Very generous room with sitting area, large balcony with doors that opened wide and a fully equipped kitchen. Just a short walk to the beach by the nearby Hilton and the entire Waikiki waterfront. There is a pool but we opted for the beach since it is so calm inside the breakers. Because it is in the eastern end of Waikiki the nearby park (great for walks and jogging) and mall with a great grocery store was also within walking distance. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean. Everything was very nice.

Overall, I was very pleased with my 2 stays in August, at the Ilikai. I lived at the Ilikai for about a year in 1995. I have not been back to the Ilikai since then. It is showing its age in some areas and it was sad to see the restaurant closed in the lobby, cinnamons. Are there any plans to reopen a restaurant there? I was also looking forward to walking over to the Chart House, but that is still under renovation. I really enjoyed the coffee shop in the lobby and also frequented the store a couple times a day. Really nice to have that convenience in the lobby. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Love the Ilikai.! Mahalo
