Il Pozzo Wine Bar & Kitchen - Restaurant in Lynbrook - 46 Atlantic Ave, USA

The food was absolutely delicious! The bartender Tony (the wine guy) was awesome. The table service was a bit slow. The entertainment was great. We danced and sang and had an excellent time!

Food was great and so were the drinks (made by Pete) !! Nicole was our waitress she was really good and Logan was our busboy he was very attentive. Great all around experience Can’t wait to come back! Dominic the owner was very nice to meet as well

The is always a calculus in giving a 5 star for me. It's a combination of food, service, easy going and cost. The 1st time I came here, a server who also happened to be the wife of the owner gave me tips on the parking outside even tho she did not know we were coming to the restaurant. We originally sat in the lounge area and had a marvelous meal with a 1960 TV show, Voyage to the bottom of sea. The male server knew his wines and them time was amazing. There was also a woman playing the guitar... Fast forward to yesterday. A friend wanted good food and live music and IL Pozzo popped in my head that was closeby. I could have easily gone to ant restaurant in Rockville Center but nothing came to mind. I remembered the guitar at sil Pozzo and decided to share my experience with a new person. I do remember how good the meatballs were. As I entered, the owner greeted me but forgot me from the last time. Granted it had been a couple of months. He did give me a very warm welcome and sat us down. They were having staff issues so his wife was all over, taking orders, clearing tables and doing alot. She is a bundle if energy running circles around everyone. She is so nice and perfect for this place. It happened to be Sangria Saturday!!! The hand made sangria they have were only $20. I may have to return on more Saturdays just for that! They have red, white and rose sangria. Also ordered the Brussels sprouts which were amazing with the chunks of roasted garlic!!! The cauliflower was not bad. Not a real fan of them. My friend wanted to try them. Also got the handcut fries which can come regular, peppercorn or truffled...yum!!! Finally added the pan seared chicken since I was trying to limit my red meat intake. They had music playing in the background which was at the perfect volume and had a few good songs playing too!!! Let me tell you, if you jave not tried to dine at IL Pozzo wine bar, you are truly missing a flavorful event!!!

This place is new this summer(2019) and shouldn't be missed. Il Pozzo has excellent food, delicious wine, and the atmosphere can't be beat. On a mild summer night, the street views from the wide open front windows are the perfect compliment to a couple delicious, shareable bites as you watch passersby with wine glass in hand. On colder nights you might be able to get a seat at the couch in the lounge area for a cozy romantic dinner.

Had an awesome experience at II Pozzo last night. The restaurant decor was great. My party was greeted the moment we arrived. We had to wait for a table but found room at the bar for a pre-dinner glass of wine. The food was amazing and the wine selection was extensive. We shared several dishes including the mussels, fries, charcuterie platter and crostinis. It's hard to pick a favorite. Looking forward to going back and checking out the rest of the menu

Their house sangria is to die for and their food is top notch, albeit a little pricy at times, but well worth every penny! I've been coming here once a week with some friends and it's always a great place to relax and catch up after a day of school or work. BTW, their tacos available only during taco Thursday are A M A Z I N G ! !

Love this place. Reminds me of when I lived in Manhattan or visited Europe. The bartender is great. Nice guy and his rose sangria was excellent. Food is so amazing. I had the happy hour specials. Mussels were perfect. Nice juice with a slight kick. I don't usually eat fries but when I saw "hand cut" I got them. They are made in house, done perfectly I couldn't get enough garlic aioli. Definitely coming back.

Went early to Il Pozzo in Lynbrook. Super nice place with great atmosphere, they have some tables, some high tops, a nice bar area, a small lounge area, very versatile, makes for a great place for almost anything, after work drink, Lynbrook date night, wine with the girls, anything... we had a bunch of the shareable apps.. Szechuan fries, risotto balls, artichokes.... ALL great. Will be back for more for sure!
