Just had an amazing dinner here with my best friend who was craving Italian. I’m sad I didn’t know this was so close to home sooner! This is unlike any other dining experience I’ve had in Philly. It’s family owned and you definitely feel like you’re part of the family when you’re here with how the entire staff treats you. Will be coming back for sure!
I came to Ghiotonne about a month ago and it was easily the best dining experience I’ve had in Philadelphia. The food is incredible and the servers are very sweet. Bring a bottle(or 2) of wine and order it all, it’s all incredible. Leave full and happy. Cash only. Thank you!
Has a wonderful meal with my family! I really enjoyed the mussels in white wine garlic sauce. Our service was amazing! Our server was there when we needed her ands left us be when we didn’t.
Every experience here over the years has been wonderful! This has become the go-to "special occasion"/"celebrating something" dinner spot for my partner and I (and sometimes we go "just because"). Whether we take-out or eat-in, the staff is always super friendly and attentive, and the food is always delicious (with generous portions), and it's easy to discern that it's all made with quality ingredients and care.
It took me a few months to finally write this review. I have a feeling the chef changed and they can't keep up. Unfortunately the food was some of the worst I've had at a restaurant. The mushroom crepe was greasy and bland. I don't think thats what bechamel sauce is supposed to be like. That was not like any Italian food I've ever had.The meatball I really think was microwaved. How else would it be cold in the middle? Tried to give some of my leftovers of the crepe to my friend they didn't like it either. I did love the vegetable pate that came with the bread. After seeing all these amazing reviews I was very surprised by the results. One thing is I really do think from the atmosphere and the menu that there used to be a good chef there. Some kind of integrity about the place. Reminded me of the good restaurants in Italy and you just don't see that in the USA. but yeah the food was really bad edit: i really don't want to give a bad review to a place that had an off night. Everything points to this place being good other than my experience. I'll get some gnocchi to go sometime and I'll take the review down if I was wrong.
Wonderful food, well presented. Service is EXCELLENT with lots of personality * looking at you Lydia, whom was our waitress. Great value and a BYOB. Tip well, they deserve it. *note, I am not a regular due to not living in Philadelphia. Was there 3 years ago. Same great experience!
Such a lovely restaurant and staff. Their bread and dip are amazing - 100% toddler approved, just look at that face in the photos! The salads, mussels, pasta dishes, pork chop, chicken, salmon and desserts were spot on. I am now a frequent patron, that is how good the food and people are at this establishment.
Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, OK food. Called ahead on a Friday night and were able to get a table pretty easily, but it could've been a slow weekend. Either way, staff was very friendly and on top of things. Inside atmosphere is nice and being able to see inside the kitchen is cool. The caprese salad we got was delicious and fresh. However, our main dishes were just OK. The pork dish we ate was too salty, especially the risotto. The seafood pasta didn't have a lot of flavor and the seafood didn't taste very fresh. The food wasn't bad, we were just hoping for better.

Took my girlfriend out for date night and decided to try a new place. Upon arriving they were able to accommodate seating although we didnât make reservations. We chose the mussels as an appetizer, we were served bread within 5 minutes of being sea
Wow, wow, wow! What a terrific restaurant. So glad we ventured out there. The staff and service are great. The food - amazing! No bland olive oil/butter here. They start the meal with warm bread served with cold roasted veggies drenched in balsamic.
Celebrated a 50th anniversary at the restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is amazing with the ornate decor to the beautiful woodwork. The restaurant was super clean and well maintained. The entire meal was delicious and the cockta

It certainly lived up to its reputation. In service, atmosphere and MEATBALLS. Soft and velvety, draped in an excellent red sauce with a side scoop of ricotta that my wife melted over. She also ordered the broccoli rabe and simply sighed with each bi

Joined on a student membership for the summer and really enjoyed my experience. All the trainers were highly knowledgeable (and incredibly athletic) and made sure everyone felt welcome in the gym. When I was dealing with a shoulder injury, they were
