IKEA - Furniture store in Carson - 20700 Avalon Blvd, USA

I always love coming to IKEA but some of the IKEA’s and other cities are quite difficult to get to be near downtown, this one was pretty nice as it’s next-door to a mall so it’s easy to pop in and get what you want if you don’t feel like track Through the whole store, look at some of the maps for shortcuts to cut through. It definitely helps knowing which section you want to go to ahead of time. Otherwise you’ll be there for a couple hours following the maze that wind you through three levels of the store be sure to look at the price tag, as they’ll scratch out the price by hand and write the sales price it’s not super obvious as some other sales labels you may see elsewhere but you can catch a really good deal. You can also check out the cafeteria to grab a quick white and don’t forget to grab your cinnamon rolls

The store is great and inviting, but the only problem is that the entire store is cashless. I had to go in line and buy a gift card for 5 dollars so I could buy some food. There has got to be a better way.

Best place to get back to college supplies. We appreciate the fun competition to assemble simple furnitures and the special discount for college students.

IKEA pizza was not good! Disgusting 🤢 🤮 crusty dry no doughy feeling or fluffy. 12$ could have gotten me two pizzas at dominos and it’s a chain pizza brand. Wasted money on this.

This is the worst Ikea I've ever been in. The layout is bad, and there's no cafe, but I could forget about those if the customer service wasn't so terrible. I was repeatedly given rude and condescending treatment by the staff. In one instance, an employee told me they don't carry a certain product that I have gotten there before, and when I expressed disappointment about it, she was quite rude. And then I found the item two sections over! Then when I was checking out, an item rang up at a different price than was marked on the shelf. The self-checkout attendant (they ONLY have self-checkout, which is another strike) tried to call in for a price check, declaring "It's only $[X] difference." When no one answered his call for a price check, I asked him if he could just manually adjust the price. He said "Yeah, but we'll wait." Okay, but after 5 minutes of waiting, and no one was calling him back, I started to get impatient. He kept asserting, "It's only $[X] difference," to which I say, if they think it's about the $[X] difference, then they have no real grasp of the situation. Finally he said, to me very condescendingly, "Do you have a phone?" Yes. "Do you know how to use it?" Of course. "Then maybe you should go find the item on the shelf and take a pic of the price." I was stunned. Finally a manager came and corrected the price. I won't post the name of the worker that said it on this forum, but I did express this all to the manager. And I'm pretty sure he was stoned. Suffice to say, I'm never going back to this location. Neither should you.

I came in thinking. It was gonna be a easy exchange/return. My wife called about a day ago spoke to some girl gave my wife information about being able to bring back the bed that we bought (frame) I asked a gentleman to speak to a manager because he was telling me that it was wrong information and he needed a receipt apparently if you pay cash and you lose the receipt. There is no way for them to help you after the manager Cory or Cody ame out and started talking to my wife because she was on the phone. She was explaining what happened. He said that there was no way that could ever happen. And said that there was no solution to my problem as a customer. I try to tell him if I could exchange the broken parts at least? Because that's the main reason why I wanted to get a new one becuase it was broken! He tells me no without. Any sympathy! Or not even a let me see if I could do anything even. He didnt try what so ever! customer service was horrible. I looked like a crazy person asking for something reasonable, I didn't ask for my money back. Just Wanted Store Credit I even asked can I get the same bed again ? Cody Said no. I had to leave with the whole bed back to my house. I need to go home sleep on the floor now because I have no bed because they told me. I could come in and get credit or some solution to It? But nothing was done. As a manager He did not do his part. This review is specifically for the manager no customer service. What so ever.

I love this IKEA so much, even though it's small. Polite staff, they are always ready to help, work quickly and smoothly. Many thanks to the recruiting manager and all the guys who work there. Friendly attitude towards animals, no rudeness and rudeness when asking about the status of my dog. Compared to IKEA Burbank your having is 100% better. The return and exchange department also works very quickly, the chair did not fit us and we returned it in 5 minutes

Seriously, IKEA needs to do something about this store. This is the worst of the worst IKEA store I’ve ever been. They put the tiny dining area in front of the restroom. Literally only less than 5 feet ‘ in front’ of the bathroom door. You can even see the toilet and smell the bathroom when doors open when you are eating. So DISGUSTING.
