Place was clean, server was really nice and made us feel welcome. The food was another story. Paper thin steak and overdone eggs tossed on a plate with zero care for the presentation. Tasteless, dry pancakes. A crepe so small we thought it had been previously eaten and we just got the leftovers. Way to go chef!
Service - 2/5 (unfortunately — only because of the team being understaffed. Our waitress was beautiful and kind, but way too busy) Food - 3/5 (big sizes and tasted great) Coffee - 1/5 Good American breakfast. Pancakes are a must and so so filling. Things were forgotten on our table and the food took 30+ minutes to come out. We went on a Saturday morning and it was VERY busy. You could also tell they were severely understaffed.
Today I am here and Olga is on and what a wonderful waitress! She is happy, and got all 7 tables ordered, drinks and coffee and tea going quickly! Today, I was seated quickly, but the last time I was here, it took so long that I left. It is hard when there is only one wait staff member to handle all of it at different times of day. Had a gluten-free blueberry pancake stack, eggs, sausage and hashbrowns
Please pass this place and wait for an opening at Perkins. They were not very busy and seemed fully staffed, but we waited a while for our drinks, and 20 minutes after ordering, our waitress advised that the kitchen mixed up out tix but the food will be done soon--it was another 20 minutes before we got the food. Then the food was cold, tiny portioned, and aweful. My hashbrowns had that film taste to it that fried potatoes get after they get room-temp. And the bathroom was out of soap at 11am! Definitely a management problem when that many factors are out of whack. I got the bacon burbon jam Benedict and it was just horrible. They put half a piece of bacon on each muffin--for $17--and that little piece was over-cooked and had some wierd hard nodule on it I had to spit out on a napkin because I could not chew it. The hashbrowns were tiny, not that I wanted to eat them. I included a pic to show how tiny it all was, although I think the picture makes it even appear bigger than it was.
I ordered a small dinner salad, and the lettuce was wilted and brown. Also brought me the wrong dressing. The husband had the cheeseburger and fries with no complaints. Actually, fries were well seasoned and good.
This is the worst service I have ever had in Food service! I asked for management no help! Had a lil girl argue w me how busy they were! I waited 15 mins to be seated and saw 4 families leave! Waited 30+ mins for food to come and it was cold and all wrong! Saw a couple leave a check because they waited 35 mins for their check that never came! I asked 5 times for my check, I was so mad that I couldn’t eat! I left my plate! I only got seated because I called the restaurant 2xs and yelled at a person to seat us!
My family and I visited this location back on 08/09/2023. We were driving through on our way to Seattle and decided to stop here for breakfast. It was my first time ever eating at an IHop, but my youngest child and fiancé have visited plenty of times in the past. The restaurant itself is large in size and looked extremely clean and well maintained on the outside, as well as on the inside. For being 6am in the morning, I am completely shocked we were the only ones in this place ordering breakfast. There’s a decent sized hotel directly behind this restaurant and it’s only down the street from the main highway. Upon entering, we were greeted by the only waiter working at that time named Aidan. He grabbed the menus and happily walked us to our booth. Besides being extremely patient, he was well mannered, friendly, and had a wonderful sense of humor for it being super early in the morning. I am unsure how long Aidan has been a waiter, but he did a phenomenal job when it came to customer service. He kept our cups of coffee filled, made sure to check on our table every 5 minutes, and gave the best recommendations when it came to dishes to try. My son gobbled up his chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. My fiancé really enjoyed his country fried steak and eggs. And I absolutely loved every bite of my spicy poblano omelette that Aidan suggested. Everything looked like the menu displayed and it was delicious! Too bad my family and I reside in the Midwest and not on the West Coast because we would visit here a lot more.
The waitress was nice enough but she was almost too busy to help.. and kept disappearing in the back.. matter of fact all the workers kinda disappeared somewhere lol.. food was good though..
Early Bird is a great place for breakfast in Ellensburg with a cute atmosphere. I donât think I know of a place that is better for a brunch meet up in the area! Every time I come the food is fresh. The coffee and drinks are pretty good. I have com
Seriously some of the best and unique food in Ellensburg. Everything here is absolutely delicious. It smells amazing a city block away, and everything tastes amazing. One of my favorites is the pork adobo, pictured with the two crunchy and hot lumpia
Good stop at Ellensburg. Pretty big space with icecream, coffee and other hot food. Except plant based milk for coffee, or smoothies there is nothing much Vegan, but have eggless icecream options. Good staff and plenty parking.
they obviously take pride in what they do. the flat fries are amazing...I've never had anything like it. love the mule flight to be able to sample, and the other cocktails are incredible too. i need to make the 20 minute drive more often. amazing peo
They have a limited menu, but that's a trademark of a restaurant that makes really good food, and this is an example of that. Its also the least expensive place to get a meal in town (even after a tip), and I would know, I'm as cheap as they get. I
I gave a 5 stars, not because of the equipment, even though it would be nice to update. I gave a 5 for the personalities of the gym staff and the professionalism of the staff. Arron treated me as a member even though I am not. I purchase the daily pas
Our first time going, and weâll be back for sure any time our travels take us through Ellensburg. Lots of really original flavors and combos on the menu, good prices, and choices for everyone in the family. We got a huckleberry shake, a cup of min
Inviting, chill atmosphere with great staff. The food is wonderful, and priced the same. Seriously, less than $4 for delicious bowl of soup? Yes please. The pork fried rice dish fed my husband and myself twice over. 10/10 will go back. Just go. Best
Seriously some of the best food in Ellensburg. The fried chicken sandwich and the philly sandwich are really good. Their tacos are delicious as well. The service is always stellar here, and the staff is very friendly.
