IHOP - Breakfast restaurant in DeLand - 1215 N Woodland Blvd, USA

Party of 5 came in for lunch yesterday. We were seated after a short wait. When I sat the table seat came up and did not appear to be attached. The other side of the booth was ripped. We all ordered various items that came out with a regular wait time. All the food items were very good. Our server was very nice.

We’ve eaten here multiple times over the last year or so, and while the food is typically always good we’re at least able to sit and eat. However, the last 3 times my wife and I have tried to come in and eat within 1-2 hours of close, we have been turned away by the same waitress due to a variety of seemingly made-up reasons such as “maintenance” or just simply “we’re closing early”. While I try not to make assumptions, I will say that as it’s always the same woman who always seems to be overwhelmed whether she has 1 table or 4 tables, we’re beginning to believe that this server simply doesn’t want/cannot handle anymore tables so she turns guests away. When we have been “graced” by her services, our food is almost always incorrect in some manner and our drinks stay empty the entire time while we sit waiting for simple condiments for upwards of 30+ minutes. I’m sorry that I do not know her name, otherwise I’d certainly be including it. I’m certain that most of the other negative reviews however are directed towards her as well.

We never have to wait long when we go here. There's a few really good waitresses we usually get which makes a big difference! The food is always delicious, I've never had a bad experience with the food. They are friendly & the atmosphere is normally peaceful. Always seems to be a few idiots that refuse to deal with their screaming children though. Their takeout is very popular. Even with the crowds & numerous takeout orders, we've never waited longer than 15 minutes for the food to come. Check it out!

Having read some mixed reviews on here I went to this IHOP cautiously but was pleasantly surprised. Food was perfect (bacon crisp, eggs perfect, hash browns excellent, milk fresh and cold and no sign of grease on the plate). Our server Mia was not MIA, she was very attentive! I liked that she came over and acknowledged that the food was taking a little long but we thought it was reasonable considering there was a wait to get in the restaurant. There were many people waiting when we got there but it moved through very quickly and efficiently. The only thing I would suggest is that the restaurant could use a renovation to take it out of the 1990s. That being said our seats were good and the place looked clean, just very outdated. I highly recommend!

I've tried the Deland IHOP several times and unfortunately it's always pretty disappointing. Whether it's the quality of the food or the staff.

Tired of wasting your money on people and places that don't care anymore??? This is the place to go...good food, friendly atmosphere, service people that care. I've been here twice in a week and both times were amazing! Make sure Wesley is on the grill, this man can cook!! An amazing talent!

Waitress overtipped herself. She was inattentive. Didn’t looked too pleased to be waiting on us from the moment we sat down, had a snobby attitude. She never came to check on us after the food was dropped off. No refills, no napkins, no butter or syrup. Didn’t offer a box when I clearly had a lot of food left over, I had to ask other staff for napkins, syrup and boxes. She was only faking a smile when it came time for me to pay. I left her a tip that reflected the “service” she provided, or lack there off. I check my credit card statement and she overtipped herself. I have the original receipt that I kept because I had a feeling she would do this. Shady waitress. I’m putting in a dispute with my credit card company.

#Amanda was our server & she was wonderful! It's been a while since we've been here & menus items have changed. I got a chic bisque & it was huge! I could only eat ½. Amanda suggested the onion rings & vanilla coke btw; both were spot on! Hubby had a burger. It was Soo juicy, it leaked being picked up! Afterwards, he said "I forgot how good their burgers were!". An old fave that will have to be reaquainted with.
