IHOP - Breakfast restaurant in Bellmead - 1705 I-35, USA

We had lunch there. It was SO great. I always get the sampler...OMG! delicious! We had the nicest server, and very excellent at his job! We had to wait when we first arrived there which mystified me as there were very few people there at the late lunch time we chose. As soon as we got seated all was perfect. Our food came out fast, refills were fast, checked on us many times. Got our drinks really quick even before menus. Got the check quickly when finished. We were greeted nicely and thanked nicely before we left Just all around great lunch!

Food is ok. The portion is little less for the price. If you want to eat healthy, might be good option for you.

Typical IHOP you find anywhere. Stick to pancakes to not be disappointed. This time did the mistake of ordering eggs Benedict and we're horribly over cooked. Knew this would happen but took the chance.

It seems that all IHOPs are alike, but the Bellmead location is a breed of its own. When you walk in, nobody even acknowledges your existance for about 10 minutes. When we were finally greeted and seated, you start noticing tables that haven't been cleaned in the 30 minutes that we have been waiting on our food. Very disappointed with the Bellmead IHOP.

The price. It cost too much. Fifty bucks for 2 adult meals and two kids' meals. The food is okay. It's definitely not a place I'll go back to again. Good people are working there, though.

Our experience here was great. Our food came out in a timely manner and looked amazing . Food was delicious and have no complaints. Our server was actually the best server we have had since they opened. We go to IHOP at least once or twice a month . Our server was very courteous and respectful and very attentive to our table. Waited 30 minutes to get seated with almost entirely open seating. Hostess (very nice) got our drink order and said waitress would take our order shortly. Thirty more minutes, waitress finally takes order. No one checked on us for 45 minutes. Food comes and is tepid. Ordered the lemon berry ricotta French toast - says on menu fresh berries on top. Got two cold pieces of burnt French toast slathered with raspberry sauce, a glob of cream cheese (no ricotta) about the size of a half dollar, a lemon wedge and 1 fresh soft blueberry - yes one. My slice of ham was hard and burnt as well. My husband ordered a steak omelette - there were about four quarter-sized pieces of overcooked steak. He ate his pancakes. The service has always been incredibly slow; however, the food is decent. Today, we were there over 2+ hours and the food was awful. Will be a long time before we come back.
