IHOP - Breakfast restaurant in Marion - 3038 S Western Ave, USA

went for breakfast and service was very poor, couldn’t get refills, wasn’t checked on, finally got our food and our pancakes had cardboard in them, management handled it very nicely with taking the pancakes off our bill and giving us fresh ones to go, BUT when we paid our total was 24.57 and gave our waitress 25.57 to get a dollar back and we were never given our change back and we were ignored. awful experience will not be going back , at least management has a good reputation

Having dinner here took about 13 years off of my life. The whole restaurant smelled like a wet dog laying in a pile of their own waste. There was only one waitress in the restaurant, and she was also the host. She took about 6 years to take our order and another 7 to refill our drinks. The pancakes were alright but they were hard to digest while smelling wet dog and sitting next to boogers smeared on the wall. I'm telling my ex-wife to eat here so that she has to suffer as well.

One star for good food once we got it. Employees need a lot of work on how to get a long and work as a team. I don't know who was yelling in the kitchen but you should be embarrassed. Your customers were looking at each other wondering if they should leave. I thought for a minute Mr Ramsey might be walking out for a restaurant make over. I never give bad reviews but this time I needed to let people know that they might be witness to employee abuse.

This has been the best experience we have had here at this IHOP in a very long time. Our waitress was very attentive, kind, and professional. Our food was cooked well and looked just like the food in the pictures on the menu; a rare thing to happen nowadays in any restaurant. It was wonderfully tasty. The coffee had a rich flavor that was neither too strong or too weak. The hashbrowns were cooked to perfection and not burnt or greasy. They were buttery tasting. I simply can NOT say enough about April,our waitress, or the manager who cooked our food. They both were fabulous!!! WAY TO GO MARION IHOP NIGHT TIME SHIFT!!!!! Thank you for taking excellent care of us!

Our waitress was wonderful, food was great. We came in at 3:30a with smiling host and were seated quickly. Our food was hot and fresh. The pot roast just fell apart and didn’t even stick in your teeth. The rest of the staff was cleaning while not busy. 10 out of 10 going back. Thank you

We ate here at around 8:30pm on Christmas day. As expected they were the only place open and therefore packed. My wife and kids work in the restaurant industry and we could see how slammed the staff were and how hard they were working and trying to accommodate the holiday crowd. Major kudos to our server for still being able to smile and give us good service. We could hear them talking about running out of things, which we know can happen despite the best planning. Despite the obvious stress they were under everyone was keeping their cool and working hard to give the best service they could. Mad respect for everyone working there the night of 12/25/23.

We came in at I’d say about 12:30 we sat and waited for a whole hour and didn’t receive our food, it was a platter and a classic cheeseburger mind you only 2 items. We watched other people get there food before us and those people got here way after us, it doesn’t make sense to me how you can forget a table yes they were busy but not busy enough to forget us. I’ve had good experiences with this Ihop up until now. I hate to leave a review like this for them because they work hard but still it’s ridiculous.

So went to have a late night meal with the family and literally stood at the front desk for over 10 minutes. Several employees passed us and didn’t even say they would be with us shortly, they were busy, nothing. Definitely won’t be going back. Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a food establishment. Being totally ignored means I can take my business elsewhere.
