IHG Holiday Inn Express on Fort Leonard Wood - Hotel in Fort Leonard Wood - 3400 Nebraska Ave, USA

Over all very nice. Clean, well appointed. I was a little disappointed that we had a kitchenette with no plates, bowls, or silverware. Would have been nice to have coffee creamers and sugar too. Other than that, everyone was very nice, the rooms were good. (Shower turn on-off took a bit to figure out!) Gyms available in nearby buildings. Felt safe. Breakfast in large cafeteria-like building offered everything you could want.

Being across the parking lot from the school was great. Rooms were fine. Still felt more like a nice barracks vs a hotel.

My stay here was good. The room was nice, fairly quiet and contained everything needed for an extended stay. Reason for 3 stars was the fact that after being here a month, the ability to cool the rooms was shut off or the "cooling tower" ran out of water. There were several "warm" days which created an uncomfortable setting when I would return for the night. Several sleepless nights due to the room temperature being uncomfortable and not having the ability to cool it down. One day I returned to the room temp being 93 degrees. As I type this at 6am, the temp in the room is 80 degrees. The hotel did offer another room when mine was 93 degrees, but was advised there wouldn't be AC available. So, if you come here early spring, be prepared for your rooms to be uncomfortable on warmer days, especially if you stay above the ground floor.

Very clean. We did have a little trouble finding it based on address but if you use GPS for “morelli heights” you’ll be able to find it better. Everyone there was very nice including the front desk who told us about this GPS trick. It was also easy enough to get on base with your ID. Jut make sure you get your clearance a week before your check in date. Everything can be done online/email and the response for clearance was quick. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the bathroom opens directly to the bed and the vent fan was very loud so showering while my husband was still trying to sleep kind of sucked. But it is built that way and you deal but I do with the exhaust fan in the bathroom was quieter.

Stayed here for a week while our son was here. The hotel is very clean and nice. The building layout is kinda confusing but we got the hang of it after a few days. They offer a free breakfast in one of the buildings which was great! The room was a family suite and it was very nice. We had plenty of room for us all and the price couldn’t be beat. It was nice not having to go in and out of the main gate a lot by staying on base. The only complaints we had really was the noisy ac unit and the noisy bathroom exhaust fan. The staff here were very nice and they went out of their way to be friendly. Would stay here again!

Cant tell you how many time I lost my card. The staff were nice and courteous. They always helped me when I needed it. The room I had was nice size and provided great amenities. The housekeeping were professional and did a great job maintaining the rooms. Only thing I suggest is bring the TV closer so people don't have to blast the volume to hear it. Main plus for staying here as well is that the laundry is free.

I was told this was as nice as the candlewood is but I don't believe so it's nice the rooms are very nice still looks like a barracks down the hall. Rooms are very nice you can see pictures below. Small kitchenette with full size refrigerator two burner stove sink cabinets pull out desk six drawers nice bad queen size.

My room was a kitchenette style but it was very nice very spacious. Stayed there for my sons graduation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom was also very neat and clean. I'll stay there again if I'm ever in Ft. Leonard Wood again.
