Definitely needs to be remodeled. Bathroom fixtures, cabinets, and flooring were very disappointing. The rooms are not very sound proof. You can hear every cough or conversation your neighbor was having. For the price they charge, you'd expect a decent room. It has the feel of a motel that allows long term rentals. Unless, they have a complete remodel, we won't stay here again. We had a pet friendly room, but didn't receive our gift basket. The dog area had nasty water filled pools. It would just take a little time to clean and or remove the pools. The town needs more availability for visitors. With a little effort, it could be a great place!

We enjoyed our stay at one of the cabins. We were glad there are some units that are NOT pet friendly, as my husband has allergies. The cabin is very convenient- you can park right in front. There is a separate bedroom, bathroom with shower, a pull out couch bed in the little living room, and a small full kitchen with a full sized fridge. There is a fully stocked propane grill behind each cabin. The cabin isn't large, but the 4 of us fit in just fine. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were robes, slippers, towels, and toiletries provided, bed linens, and dishes in the kitchen. There are games and books available in the office, and a muffin/juice/coffee in the mornings. The cabins are expensive, but everything is expensive in this area! It was convenient to our relatives in Mazama and the hiking we did, plus church on Sunday. Would stay there again.

This place has potential to be cute, but it is so run down and in need of some TLC. When we arrived at 4pm all the sprinklers were on so we had to walk through them to get to our door, only to find the key code they had emailed us didn't work. It was hot out so the sprinklers didn't bother me too much, though my husband was not too keen on getting his pants wet unloading the car. When we got into the cabin we found that it was crawling with bugs. Bugs on the walls, crawling in and out of every crevice in the ceiling, there were even bugs under the covers on the bed. Additionally the cabin next to us on one side had discarded items piled around it and there was a man on drugs or having some kind of mental health crisis screaming obscenities and slamming doors on the other side. We didn't feel comfortable inside, and we didn't feel safe outside. Needless to say we packed up and left. They did give us a full refund and we were able to find a hotel down the road that was bug free and safe. The gal working the front desk was the only bright spot in the whole fiasco, and the reason I am giving the service 2 stars instead of 1. She was apologetic and even tried to help us find a new place to stay. Until this place gets a hefty remodel I'd recommend finding a different place to stay.

I didn't expect much, but it was actually a very refreshing stay. Very clean room, nice bed, coffee pot and coffee. Parked in front of the room. It says Pet Friendly, but that is an understatement. We got a personalized gift basket just for my dog. They have the only off-leash dog area around. I really got the feeling they don't like cats. I will stay at this place next time I am in the area. It was nice seeing the deer roaming through the parking lot while I had my morning coffee. My only complaint would be the room heater thermostat, you cannot tell the estimated temperature.

Ok so small.town motel with cabins and motel rooms. Old ac units are loud and this place isnt polished but it all worked nicely. Parking right out front of our motel room which is always nice. The room had a small.fridge and microwave and a pull out couch and was dog friendly. Even thou it wasnt a polished hotel it was fine. We got an email prior to arriving that gave us the code to the key lock on our room door. It was fantastic!!! So nice not to have to all check in at the same place with one staff member and a long line. The place is incredibly clean with what looked like new thick carpets in our room and the bed was comfy! The caretakers have built a fully fenced in off leash dog park behind the cabins. Its fantastic with pools and chairs and.dog bags and a garbage can for pick ups. Our pup doesnt get to go off leash often enough and we honestly cant express enough how nice it is to have this space for our pup. Its tremendous and lovely and so appreciated. Our only concern were the loud old ac units but otherwise this place did not disappoint!! Well done for the nice pup space!!

Are the rooms a bit out dated? Yeah. They’re clean though and the place has a lot of potential. The owner was nice and worked with me when I had to check out at the last minute. With some TLC and room remodels this place could be really nice. I’d suggest just doing one cabin at a time and gutting it and updating the whole thing.

I knew I was in trouble when I pulled up and saw the disrepair of the property. Weeds everywhere, dead grass and a backhoe parked in front. We arrived about an hour early and hoped to check in. The owner informed me that it would be an extra $20 to check in early. While I can understand if the room isn't ready or someone is trying to arrive 4 hours early - but why is this an issue? Once we were checked in, I called the front desk to inquire about the Spa - only to find out that it didn't exist. It's been torn out and won't be operational for months. No mention of this on the website or when I made my reservation or during check in. I'm sure this was a beautiful property back in the day - but it's time has passed. Rooms are dated, the property is awful and the customer service is horrific. As you will see from the owners response below, none of this is his fault. I hope this post helps others from making the same mistake I made.
