Used to come here as a kid. Just visited after not being in the area for 30 years. Still the same delicious chili Mac. We get the jumbo, regular or spicy with cheese and onions. Incredible value. Good service. A Toledo tradition!
First time getting an Ideal chill dog, it definitely lived up to my expectations, so good, my wife ordered the marinated chicken sandwich in a pita, she loved it too, the waitress was very friendly, the food came out quick, we'll be back to this place again for sure!
Consistently good! One of my favorite places to grab really good food. I typically order take out. Chili Mac with everything is my favorite.
I usually go to Ideal on Alexis Rd in Toledo Ohio which is awesome 5 stars. Went to this location with a friend for lunch. They use an Ipad to take order which makes process horrible with waitress getting frustrated & cutting us off from ordering because she couldn't navigate it, I get it technology can be difficult to deal with. Well she brings our drinks starts to walk away & remembers she didn't give straws & turns around & throws them up in the air without a care where they land. Gave a hard time when asking to put in togo order for someone else who wasn't there. I tipped her $10 which was very good for service recieved. Maybe she had a better day after that. The food was not at all good either! Like I said Alexis St. Location always good & always good service. But this location food was horrible, I ate half & threw rest away.
Stopped in to introduce a friend to this great place! Got some dogs so he could try the great sauce! 👍 I used to come to this place going up, and always enjoyed this place for a good meal.
I work in that area doing construction and decided to try Ideal Hotdog for lunch based on reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service and the food. I've been back multiple times and they never disappoint.
Waitresses were friendly and helpful to a first-timer. Food came out hot and fresh. Decor was a little dated but clean.

This was some of the best coffee I've had in a while. I got the mint mocha with oat milk and the depth of flavors kept me excited the entire cup. The C.A.B. (Caramel Apple Butter) is also such a vibrant delicious flavor (So apple-y!)
