Ichiban Buffet - Buffet restaurant in Winder - 78 E May St, USA

I was immediately greeted upon entering. I came in about 4:30. Staff is friendly. Although the building may not be the newest, the place was clean. The bathroom was clean often. The waitresses did a fantastic job cleaning up as people left. Tables were you left, waiting to ve cleaned off. They were attentive.. So much so that I tipped almost half of what I paid. Food was fresh and tasted good. The gentleman who made the sushi knew what he was doing. Twice when I went to get food, there was a gentleman that came put and informed what was needed at the buffet. Very efficient! I've not seen that before at any buffet. It's like other Chinese/Asian buffets I've been to, as far as what they offer. I've been to others that offer more. Would I recommend them or return? Yes. The photos are if what I ate.... that's how good it was! 😁🤗 They did have various ice cream bars ice cream in smaller containers, as well as other dessert. I like the sanitary aspect of that instead of open containers of ice cream and many different people using the ice cream scoops... imagine the kids!! 😅 So I would give a plus for the packaged ice cream desserts.

The food was very delicious and service was speedy. Always had our dirty plates taken away quickly. They also have a ice cream chest included with the price.

I love the Ichiban Buffet Restaurants in Florida. I was so excited to see one within a 30 minute drive. There is a very good fresh selection of sushi rolls available, as well as, a wide variety of Chinese, seafood and kid-friendly items. Busy restaurant, but haven't had to wait to be seated.

I love Asian cuisine and this is probably the worst I’ve ever had in my entire 42 years of being on this planet! The meat was rubbery and overcooked. The food tasted stale and old. The lo mein noodles were tough and chewy. And after expressing my dissatisfaction with their food, I was still charged $14. I wasn’t even in that place a total of 10 minutes. Absolutely one of the worst places in town to eat at.

Very nice restaurant, The only thing to remember beware of the time of day especially if you go for lunch. They will switch out lunch items and put dinner items out and walk around and look to see if you have a certain item on plate a charge you dinner price, instead of switching the entire buffet to dinner so you're lunch customer won't get confused. Will be returning but know time soon.

The first two times I was here, the food was OK, the service was minimally acceptable. The third time I was here, only the man putting out the food was nice, all the other people working there were mean. They look at you like they despise you, and they only speak their language to each other, totally ignoring the people seated. Occasionally they walk thru and pick up plates, but they give no service, no smile, NO cleaning of the tables. A girl was prepping green beans on a table by the Pepsi machines. That should be done in the KITCHEN. This place has the NASTIEST water I have ever tasted. After my last visit, in which I felt like a leper, I just decided I will spend my money elsewhere. If you can't be KIND and POLITE, get out of the service industry. And even though I couldn't understand your language, your body language and side eyes at customers says a LOT.

This place is excellent. Food was soooo good. I tried All i could...and everything I tried was great!!!!! Update--- been coming over a year now. Food is still excellent! Service is excellent!!!! I love this place.....

Waitress was sort of friendly , lady at the front was not friendly at all. Asked plastic silverware and was given the death stare , she took us to the table and started talking in their language and the waitress gave me that look . During our time there the waitress only came two times 1. Pick our plates up 2. Came with our pay slips . After we left , not even a “ have a great day see you again “ or thanks for coming “ i had to say bye have a good one - might sound petty but customer service is a big thing for me.
