ICE Repair Center - Computer repair service in Metairie - 5928 W Metairie Ave Ste 1, USA

Unfortunately I did not have as good an experience as others. My computer stopped booting up and I couldn’t figure out why. So I went online to look for somewhere to take a look and this place had great reviews. Long story short.. they told me my motherboard was no good and they wouldn’t be able to find another mini ATX, Am4, DDr4 motherboard to replace it with and asked me if I wanted a quote on the repair. So I say yes, but I also start looking for a replacement, myself, online. I ended up finding one for $80 and tried giving them a call to pick up my PC but they never answered. They were also difficult at times to get ahold of on the phone. They then took around 2 days to give me a quote of about $800. To replace my motherboard, CPU (a worse one mind you), and upgrade to DDR5. The only thing necessary was a motherboard replacement. But I said ‘no thanks’ and just asked for my pc back. It was a $30 diagnostic fee, which I don’t think is too bad. Though, when I went back to pick it up they left one of my side panels off. When I said something the guy tried telling me I brought it in like that when I did not. I ended up fixing it myself and only spent $80 on a new motherboard.

I asked for a diagnostic for a computer I built for my brother. It worked fine after I built it but when my brother got home it wouldn't boot. They were just supposed to diagnose it and let me know what was wrong which cost 30 bucks. Instead they "fixed" it without calling me and letting me know the price. The problem was a usb wire that hooked to the motherboard from the case had a short. They charged me $120 to unplug something.

I called and Scott was very nice from the start. I brought my laptop in and he was very helpful. I wasn’t able to get my laptop serviced bc of old age and brand but he was very knowledgeable and thorough. I would recommend and will be back for future repairs.

Scott was awesome at immediately addressing my Macbook's shattered screen (see photo, thanks cat)and repairing it even faster than we initially expected due to incoming part shipping speed. I called another repair shop first and they said it would be 3 days before they even had time to open up my laptop? Ugh. I SO appreciated the immediate and honest repair.

They fixed a few of my phones and even attempted to fix my moms IPAD that was basically DOA. Sad they don't fix Samsung phones anymore.

Don't do business with this company. If you are just buying a few things great. But the company is ran by a liar. Beware anything outside of purchases. If you want to find good Pokémon product for good prices just go online save yourself time and energy. Will no longer bring any of my business to this company

Coming from out of town and stopped by, received excellent service and great people who work here to boast! Both the owner and his son were here, and they were super informative/friendly, couldn't recommend this place more to people looking for a phone repair, or just want to check out all the cool video games they have!

I've had some very bad experience with ICE Computer Repair at 5928 Metairie Road and the owner/operator, Scott. Scott is a smooth talker but he is not an honest business person you will want to do business with. He charged me $70.00 for a few minutes of worthless 'consultation.' You best beware (and be aware) of Scott at Ice Computer Repair. I would not trust this place to do any kind of business........repair or sales of other products.
