Ice House Inn - Sports bar in Austintown - 5516 W Webb Rd, USA

Great food, really: beer batter fish was excellent and so were coleslaw and baked potatoes. Very generous portions and prices are reasonable. The waitress were absolutely friendly and nice and coming several times to check if we needed anything else. We were there on a Friday evening at 5 pm and it wasn’t too crowded. Nice bar too and big parking lot just a quart of a mile out of I 80.

This place is just what you'd expect, only cleaner, friendlier, and more delicious. It's a glorified man cave with awesome burgers, hot crispy onion rings, and great fried fish. You might have to ask for a glass when you order a beer, and it's not a fancy evening by any means, but you'll feel happy and full when you leave.

Love the food and the atmosphere here! Everyone is friendly, and I love going with my family for the different specials they have. It’s a nice atmosphere with bands on the weekends. It’s not some fancy place where you will feel underdressed when you walk in, but a comfortable hometown restaurant where nobody cares if you show up in your favorite tshirt and jeans. Also, the food is delicious!

The worst. If I could give this place, zero stars, I would. I called to place a to go order and they put me on hold for 20 minutes.. hung up & then I tried calling back to place my order and their phone was off the hook.. for 45 minutes. So I drove up there to get some fish dinners and she took my order and told me it would about 50 minutes. I went to the bar to pick up my food like the waitress told me to, & saw my food was sitting on the bar. Eight people walked past me, and didn’t even greet me. I finally spoke up to someone and asked if that was my order… the gentleman couldn’t even tell me if it was my order. The woman checked my order to see if it was mine and walked away.. 10 minutes later I ask someone if I could finally pay for my food. As she walked past me 4 more times, hitting her vape pen. I get home, and my food is absolutely frozen cold. The mozzarella sticks didn’t even have cheese in them. They were all exploded. I got a bunch a breading. I get it, the whole world is short staffed, but be kind to your customers that are patient with you. I will never go back.

This place is more Roadhouse than sports bar but don't let the appearance throw you off, the food is pretty good here. My friends and I are big fans of their sausage sandwiches, made with a medium italian sausage patty. Service can be a little spotty at times so be patient and give yourself some time.

Food gets a 0, service gets a 4. I ordered the garlic butter wings and they literally put RAW minced garlic from a jar on the wings. The flavor was so intense that even after brushing off all the garlic I could, I'm still tasting it hour later. I've never seen anywhere fail to cook the garlic. The potato skins were very small, and floppy. Almost like they'd just been microwaved. Bacon was soft, no crunch whatsoever. Fries were just as soft, honestly tasted old. Only reason there are any stars is because the server was very sweet and attentive, but she said she's leaving so I'm highly doubtful I'll return.

I have been to the Ice House Inn before. Went to see the Huckin Fillbillies this time. Had a great time. The staff was wonderful, and the food was delicious. The menu has an amazing amount of options, at very reasonable prices. They have an outdoor covered patio, with tables and chairs. I believe the bike trail runs behind the building. There is another building out back, which looks like a billiard bar. Never got to see that, but will be sure to check it out next time. May head that way this coming weekend December 18th to see Haystack. I just saw them a couple of weekends ago, and they were great! I was bummed to see, that I had missed the band, Broken Reigns in November. I saw them this past summer. So, the Ice House Inn, has quite the impressive venue!!! It is an appropriate place, to bring your family, during the day. Enjoy a wonderful lunch, or dinner. I met a lot of really nice people, and it is a calm atmosphere 😎. Thank you to the door man, who went out of his way, to help me😊. Try it out!!! You'll love the Ice House Inn!!! Going to see Broken Reigns this coming Saturday 2/12/22 Can't wait!!! Great band!!! I met the manager, for the first time, at the end of the evening, a couple of weeks ago.....you would think she would have been tired, but she was full of smiles. I added a picture of her...the tape on her face was from me. She's such a good sport!!! I feel bad I can't remember her name.

Me and my family eat here often, we love the wings but this time they must’ve been rushing due to closing time because the wings were under cooked and we didn’t realize until mid-eating them. We all had food poisoning, very disappointed with this place. Server was nice about it but the damage had already been done. Next time maybe put customers health before trying to hurry up and close the kitchen.
