IBJI MRI - Wilmette - X-ray lab in Wilmette - 521 Green Bay Rd, USA

Went for an MRI.never had one. l cancelled once because of my fears. Upon arrival the office was very pleasant. This was an open MRI. Once I met the technician he reassured me I would be ok. He was very calm & trust worthy. I felt extremely comfortable. He let me know every step and told me how good I was doing. After my experience with this tech I would tell everyone …. Go…don’t be afraid. You will be fine…yes there are loud noises but you do wear headphone to mask some if the noise. I was afraid of the unknown. IB&J is good!!

First time going to IBJI and my experience is positive with the staff they were friendly and helpful. I scheduled to get my MRI for my knee on Friday and due to some cancellations they called me right away informing me that they have a sooner opening, which was great. They had their own parking lot, which was so helpful and everything was all on the first level. It was very quick was not waiting too long pretty much in and out. I highly recommend this facility.

My MRI tech Lisa was incredibly helpful and I could not have gotten through it without her support.

The MRI facility on Green Bay Rd. and Wilmette is an excellent place to have an exam. Scheduling was easy, the technician, Gerry, is a helpful, gentle, and congenial person who made me feel very comfortable during the exam.

The staff at this MRI facility from reception to the exam technician is simply stellar! I am severely claustrophobic and thiscwas the first MRI where I had to go in the machine head first for a vuew of my thorasic spine. I have contended with panic attacks before that almost made previous exams impossible. The person who scheduled my exam suggested asking my primary physician for an anti-anxiety medication which I did, and it did help. But it was even more important that the reassuring attitude of the staff gave me the confidence to get through my entire exam without a glitch! I am extremely grateful.

My son had dislocated shoulder from hockey and we visited the Glenview office, the doctor did X-Ray, bone is ok. Then they scheduled an appointment with a shoulder specialist, that’s fine, next week, we visited the specialist, he could not do much and scheduled a MRI , which is a week later, so I am very unhappy, why the doctor didn’t schedule a MRI for us after the X-Ray? It wasted us one more week.

This was probably my fifth MRI in 10 years. It was also the best MRI experience I’ve ever had. The receptionist was very knowledgeable, and made the paperwork process very simple. I am not wild about being in a confined space, but the technician (I didn’t get his name unfortunately) made sure that I was comfortable during entire process. It was obvious to me that he knew what he was doing, and how to make sure that I was not in pain during the entire time. I hope I never need another MRI, but if I do, I will be going back to this location!

Jasmine was so amazing..had to change my appointment because of coughing. Finally got in and Lisa made the whole experience wonderful
