We had a wonderful stay at I Beach. The good first.... location, location, location. It is not only right on the beach it is right next to the public entrance, so you have a nice wood bridge and the handicapped mat for easy access to the beach. Only 2 doors down from Sloppy Joes and right across the street from Ricky T's, Walgreens and Publix. The pool is amazing the view of the palm trees & sun set is the best. The service... Sarah and all the staff were just amazing and sweet they definitely made our stay worth it. The Bad. one of the beds in our room was in horrible shape. Our feet were about a foot or more above our head due to a busted box spring and bad mattress. We finished our stay in the other queen bed but not much better I’m afraid. Okay the Ugly... My husband said a tube of caulk would do wonders and some paint. Old dressers and it just looked dated.... We would come back for the staff for sure and the amazing location too!!
We've stayed here many times and we LOVE it!! We both grew up in this area and moved to St Augustine 12 years ago. We come back often to visit friends and family. This is our GOTO hotel! We've got a favorite room we always try for, but we've experienced all of the floor plans. This is an Awesome location, steps from the beach, heated pool, well equipped rooms, across the street from Publix, Walgreens and bars and restaurants like Ricky T's and VIP lounge (great Mexican food, btw)... within half a mile of Middle Grounds Grill - an Amazing Steak and Seafood restaurant! You couldn't ask for anything more! Very quaint, quiet, local friendly area! My favorite part is the STAFF!! Sarah and Michael and everyone else is so accomodating, thoughtful, caring and considerate to everyone's needs! They remember our 6 year old daughter and lets them talk their ears off everytime we come! I'm in hospitality and I can say that is the biggest thing in creating a 'family atmosphere' and a repeat customer! The staff has Nailed it!! The prices are amazing, considering you're on the BEACH and so close to everything you need!! A short drive to the actual hustle and bustle of city life, but a world away when you're sitting there watching the sunset on the water after a long day!
This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and they are often seen tidying it up. Our apartment has everything we need and we love watching the sunsets from the deck. I love to swim and the pool temp was very comfortable.
This a cute older hotel that has had some nice renovations. The rooms are cute, comfy, and clean. The beach is steps away. The staff, especially Doug, were incredibly helpful. We will definitely stay again.
My Air Force veterans and I had an incredible time at I Beach. The location is perfect, very clean and the staff was very accommodating. This was, all 15 of us, our 1st time there for our veteran reunion and it didn't disappoint. It's rated as a two star hotel but the staff treated us better than a five star hotel. We'll be back again.
My sheets were dirty, my towels stiff as cardboard. The water pressure was terrible, so much so my toilet didn't flush properly. For the price to be on the beach it's ok but this place needs better maintenance.
Impressed enough we'll be staying there in November. Great view of beach, pool is decent size. Might even play some shuffle board while there. Manager was very nice and knowledgeable about the area things to see restaurants ect....
