I Love Chicken and Waffles Restaurant - Restaurant in San Bernardino - 1170 E Highland Ave, USA

Let me just start by saying this place is delicious and I will be back. Me being picky though the mac and cheese was a little to peppery, but it was gooey and cheesy The fried chicken was perfectly crispy my only issue was that the chicken taste like it was fried in the same oil the fish was fried in 🤷🏾‍♂️ Waffles were delicious, sweet and fluffy But like I said I will be back to try more stuff idc I'll drive the 25 min

It was my first time being here. When I got there I was nervous because the place was empty. But the service was prompt, and good amphibians. I ordered wings mac and cheese, fish and ships, and cabbage, and everything was delicious. I would return over and over. I recommend it all the way to the bank. The price is also good.

So like always I try to give both positive/negative when I review places. This place reminds me of a hidden gem or hole in the wall spot (where you think it won’t be great and it turns out to be pretty amazing). FOOD & SERVICE IS GREAT (expect to spend $12-$18 per person). We got the catfish meal, chicken tender meal and okra (which is getting hard to find) and a waffle. Everything we got had great taste and flavor. The negatives is the parking area is not as big and can be a challenge getting out of it busy. There’s also a smell that smacks you as you walks in if your not expecting it, it can be a little overwhelming. Push through though cause the service and food is well worth it. They also have arcades and toy machines. DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND STOPPING AND EATING HERE! They also do delivery and pickup orders.

wasn’t sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic. Best waffles I have ever had. The fried chicken was freshly made. The Mac and cheese, collard greens, fried okra, red beans and rice were all full of flavor. We were able to meet the lovely owners of this fine restaurant and what lovely people they are. All around great food and experience.

The overall experience was just okay, nothing really special about the waffles, and the proportions for the chicken tenders were kinda small for the price, but other than that the Mac and cheese was great i loved how they added pepper and covered the whole Mac and cheese with cheese, not just a top layer of it. The customer service was great i felt very welcomed. The diner itself could be improved but it wasn't anything terrible. Overall it was a decent place to eat at, i wouldn't go out of my way to drive over here but if i am in the area i will probably come back to try their fried chicken.

Ordered chicken and waffles, macaroni n cheese, and collard greens. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned. Waffles were also good. Mac n Cheese was delicious as well as the collard greens. Our server was very helpful and sweet. She also gave us some fried okra to taste, was also tasty.

if someone says this place is nasty they are lying because the chicken is seasoned so good i wanted more even though i was full. the mac and cheese is so cheesy n nice. they did good on the fries. im definitely going to be a returning customer. also the cashier (sorry im bad with names) was super nice, easy to talk to and charismatic🤞🏾

Tried this place 3 times and this will definitely be my last. It just keeps getting worse and worse. This last time I ordered thru Uber eats. Food came late, cold, flavorless. I ordered the catfish dinner with fries and hushpuppies, I received no hush puppies. I ordered lemonade and was given soda. I also ordered a waffle and was given no syrup. And the drinks came in containers for sides, not cups. All bad!
