By far the best coffee and espresso I’ve had. I originally found out about I have a bean when I was working as a barista in a Lombard coffee shop. I was blown away by the amazing taste. No longer working there i had forgotten about it because I live in the city. The service is impeccable even ordering it online. If you order early enough you will get it next day. I love this place. All you can ever ask as a consumer is that the business you support have a sense of integrity and I have a bean does! Thank you guys !

Addtl review for Sumatra! Wow, blown away by this bean. Delicious and the perfect cup of coffee in October on a rainy day. Pete does an extra ordinary job of describing the impressions you will sence while enjoying the coffee. I stumbled across Pete's "I have a Bean" not because I was looking for a new coffee bean, but because I was interested in backing a business that is helping people. And to my surprise I fell head over heals in love with his business, the beans and his employees. He also offers a coffee newsletter. He is so versed and I am learning so much about proper brewing techniques.

I have a bean has wonderful customer service to go along with delicious coffee that makes my mouth water just writing about it. Did I mention I wholeheartedly support their mission and purpose? Oh, and the Coffee Coach emails are clever, informative without being preachy and simply entertaining.

Very easy to use website! I order a gift box for pick up in the morning and it was ready in the window promised. When I picked my order up, I was treated to a complimentary cup of coffee that was absolutely delicious. Definitely a small business I will share and revisit

So, here's the thing: I don't like coffee. But I was hosting my cousins over Thanksgiving, so I asked them ahead of time what I should have in the house for their arrival. This was their answer: "We are heavily addicted to coffee so just a heads up so nobody gets hurt 😆." I figured I'd better get this one right to avoid any holiday bloodshed 😬🤣, and that's when I remembered that whenever my sister and her husband stay with me, my brother-in-law ALWAYS goes to I Have a Bean for his coffee in the morning. So I called up the store, confessed my coffee ignorance, mentioned that my guests had said they generally use a mild roast breakfast blend, and asked for a recommendation. The staff member who helped me was terrific! By the time I got home that day, freshly ground coffee was waiting for me at the door. And here's what happened: I opened the bags in my kitchen and was instantly knocked out by the intoxicating aroma. Remember, I DON'T EVEN LIKE COFFEE! By the time my guests arrived and brewed their first pot, I was drinking it right along with them! I got two kinds of coffee, and the Honduran was our favorite. I never thought I would write the words "coffee" and "favorite" in the same sentence, but it was absolutely divine!

Hands down, this is the best coffee I've ever had. It's the coffee that proved to me that drinking coffee black AND enjoying it was at all possible. If you've never, then you just don't know. Order. Now. Get a bag, and a bag for a friend because not only is the coffee amazing, but I don't know a more noble business model or better business story than the one I Have A Bean has. An amazing coffee AND an equally amazing story to share!

Super responsive but even more amazing is the products they sell. I’m a coffee snob but these folks hit it out of the park. Just the finest coffee I’ve ever tasted. The only thing I’d change is NOTHING! This is what coffee is supposed to taste like.
