I-84 Motor Inn - Motel in Caldwell - 505 Hannibal St, USA

When my son and husband was there good locations and nice managers had no problems with anybody we miss being there and Jose and Pamela were good and honest people .please let me know if we can come back

Will be reporting to the BBB and to the State of Idaho for tax fraud no receipt was given but I'm on Caldwell city police department body came to show I was here also they have my daughter's name because she lives in Idaho and we do not... Will be paying a visit to my Dr when I get home to check my lungs for black mold I have a compromised immune system Where to start at first the owner was very nice we had to come up from Utah for a funeral stayed a week. Worst hotel ever and the owner Jose is rude at checkout he said our room stunk of dogs yes we did have 3 and a headgehog with us but we took our dogs out regularly and they were kenneled if we left (but hardly did we leave) it's a old hotel with hot water issues but they were very good about fixing when we called so we could shower. No cable only antenna channels did receive the Wi-Fi password after request. On cleanliness of the room -Carpets were not cleaned they were stained and tiles in kitchen were broke in a few places. -all drawers had crumbs and moose poop in them in kitchen and dressers. - black mold in window seals -bathtub and bathroom sink were so gross they had to be bleached before using tub drain is broke . -no trash cans in the room at all was given one apone request - I bought Clorox wipes to wipe down everything and disinfectant and microban to clean to my standard -2 chairs in the room were stained and uncleanable i tried to clean them up -beds did have clean sheets and bedding but did not match - 2 towels and 1 washcloth provided - asked for vacuum and did not receive to vacuum floor no other service provided (housekeeping)we took out our own trash daily - on last night heard screams next door called management and cops showed up arrested the neighbor for domestic abuse. Needless to say Jose got away with $100.00 because of a smell. His helper also came into room after Jose and said room was very clean no damage was done to the room in any way and it was cleaner when left then upon check in -If needing handicap rooms none is available and you have to climb stairs. My husband and I left early to get home before dark 8 hr drive daughter had to make 2 trips to take her stuff out told jose she will return the key when she is done we had to 11 am to get it all out she was harassed by the lady for key before she was completely out of the room. Never again will I be staying here I would rather sleep in my car 🚗

Second Edit: This most certainly is not a fraudulent review as stated by the "Owner". This establishment has multiple bad reviews and most are responded to the same way, if the owner isn't denying the reviewer stayed there in the first place. This place is truly disgusting and if it wasn't for my fear of others catching something or worse in this place I'd leave them to it. Putting my differences aside with the owner, I wouldn't put anyone I care for in this hole. Edit: Do not listen to these five star reviews. They are obviously either affiliated with the motel or are residents being compensated for their review. And the pictures they show are not what we got. This was the most disgusting place I've ever been put up in. This place is owned by a former employer, and is where he chose to put us up while he "looked" for other accomodations for us. There was blood on the walls in the sink area, and on the TV. The ceilings were moldy. There were also pieces of fried chicken stuck to the walls by the table. It's apparent that they don't clean at all. Bedding and towels were leftovers from others? Nothing matched which would be ok if it wasn't old. Don't walk barefoot on the carpet. Was yelled at over some spilled dogfood on the ground that came out of our floorboard, yet residents were leaving dishes outside for the stray cats and their own. Make sure you're up to date on your vaccinations. Not sure they had laundry service?? Over all very nasty 🤮🤢. Also, I believe health and human services needs to be called on these conditions. I've attached pictures so that no one can say I'm a disgruntled employee but please make your own observations.

They require a $100.00 (cash deposit) before you can get a room. There are no ATM or convenient locations nearby to obtain cash. They will however, accept your credit card for the reservation if you put down the cash deposit. -Very sketchy- Don't bother going across the street to the Budget motel. They will not talk to you about a room, and will not do business until 3pm. Crazy! Honestly, we tried to give our money to either place, but neither would accept it. The dumbest management I have ever seen. 🙄

Called on the phone to verify if they allow companion animals and they said yes. We show up to the hotel to get the paperwork done the lady up front was half asleep and rude as can be. As soon as we walk into the office the coward in the back room yells out no dogs. This place is a joke along with how they run it. Update: You're response is as pathetic as your place of "business." AGAIN we called ahead to confirm with you clowns to accommodate our family & companion animal yet turned us away when it was time to sign the lease. Maybe you should take down that you're pet friendly if you don't allow pets! If you need a place to stay Super 8 Hotel is the best place to go!

Very rude!!! Uncomfortable!! This place needs to be tore down!!! Is there not some kind of city code enforcement 🤔🤔 Because there is a lot of black mold!!! No trash cans!!!! No laundry services!!! No wifi!!! Or I wasn't told there was!! Management Jose is the worst to deal with! Gets rude and inappropriate with you over a little dog food on the parking lot. Sorry you had to do something dude 😎✌️ I would give this place a complete ZERO!!! BUT THATS NOT POSSIBLE!! The owner of the motel is a conman and very unpredictable. Absolutely please do not take your kids, pets or self here! If you have any respect for yourself at all. The cops where there the last night we stayed. No idea why, but from the looks of the place and the people who live there, I can't even imagine what's NOT going on there!!

Staying here has been amazing because of Pamela and her husband. They have been so considerate, making sure everything is ok, and asking if there is anything we need or how they could make our stay better. I have not met such a nice, understanding, straight to the point set of Office people as these two. I have seen them on their hands and knees, cleaning, painting, scrubbing, throwing things out that people have rudely destroyed, but it never seems to phase them they just keep going, doing there best. Thanks I84 and you two for making our stay great!

The price is affordable and the rooms are very well kept. The managers are amazing and do their best to make sure you are comfortable and will make accomodations as needed. Very quiet, very relaxing stay. Highly recommended!!
