Small with limited number of spaces. Convenient to the highway and well maintained.
Manager Brian is a super nice guy. Our arrival was delayed several times due to urgent RV maintenance and he was incredibly understanding. We stayed for 2 nights and our pull-through full hookup gravel site was comfortable but not very level. Campground is located on the corner of a busy intersection with lots of noise. A Harley Davidson store is right down the street. Weekends are a nightmare with insanely loud motorcycles driving by all day. Free wifi worked great at the site. Also loved the 70+ cable channels. Didn't try the onsite restrooms/showers. Brian mentioned that the onsite washing machine works but their dryer is currently out of order.
Clean, neat, bare bones campground, no amenities. About 13 sites, right next to I-75. Mgr/Brian Cone very friendly and helpful so I gave it a "very good". Sites are fairly level, gravel, with a concrete patio, but there are no trees. 30/50 amp, W/E/S hookups, all pull through sites. Can handle big rigs. They do take reservations but it looks like it's a first come, first served if you don't, although we had no trouble pulling up and there were sites available. Wifi is strong, down load speed is adequate. $30 per night (tax included). I asked about my Good Sam discount but Brian said that was the discount. If you want a nice, clean place to stay while traveling, this is it! I would call first because it's pretty small (only 13 sites). Or you can take your chances like we did....... (note: there is another campground across the street)
12-23-2021||Tifton KOA Journey, RV Campground What a delightful surprise today! Here’s what we found: The campground is just one straight mile off I 75, down Union Rd., which removes you completely from the sounds of Interstate 75 traffic. Conveniently the same exit as a Pilot Fuel Station with a fabulous Truck/RV Wash! We found a spaciously laid out campground for privacy, with the children’s playground space far enough from campers but close enough to the front visiting porch to allow parents to relax and still have a close eye on their children. The kids zeroed in on the swings, the bounce platform and room to run. They expended their couped-up energy that had mounted during our travel today. We had stumbled on a place to escape the stress from our long day of travel. Relaxed (with beer, coffee, soda and wine from the camp store) and recharged in the fresh air and sunshine. We even took out our bocce ball set and challenged the kids! Oh, and one last thing, the camp store had every item for our RV recharge, everything we needed to make lunch and dinner! And low and behold, complimentary warm apple cider donuts for the kid’s breakfast while we had the complimentary breakfast and coffee. Excellent! Thank you for a wonderful spot to stop yesterday, David DeFeo! You were such a pleasure to talk with! Can’t wait for April when we can return to your campground on our way back north.
Nice little park for an overnight or for a Harley event with the shop walking distance away. Bath rooms were clean but in need of make over or upgrade. Getting in and out is easy and they're is fuel at the stop. Brian will meet you and show you to your spot. He makes sure you have everything you need and are settled in. Recommend taking the second entrance if you have little clearance. Full hook ups for a great price.
This is one of our economical stops. We’ve been staying here going and coming from Florida for 3 years. It’s a great value for the money. Also, Brian the manager, is the most pleasant and respectful person I’ve ever met. It’s definitely a great place for a overnight stop.
We stayed here one night on our way home. Brian was very helpful and met us at 8:00pm to guide us into our site. The location is very clean and the pull through sites were perfect if you’re in a big rig. We have a 45 foot RV and tow our jeep. We had no issues here! We’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you Brian!
Great location but since its location is easy on - easy off and being so close to the interstate ramp was noisy at times. I slept with foam ear plugs so it was no problem for me. The place is new and, as usual in small private RV parks, everyone is clumped together. Restrooms were clean...full hook-up for very reasonable charge. Yes I would stop there again since you asked.... with my earplugs.
The food here is excellent! We first discovered this place last year coming back from Florida so we stopped here again this year for more! The drinks are good but next time I will ask for it to be a little less sweet. Love the decor. Really nice, cov
i was riding the greyhound bus and we made a stop around here. The best decision i made this week was going to this place. my pizza was so good. you can get a personal pan for $3 in 2024. i didnât even know people ran deals like that anymore. and i
We stopped for lunch, and oh my goodness was I blown away! The staff was wonderful and friendly. Their service was impeccable. The perfect comfort food was to die for! The chicken pot pie was delicious, and the mac & cheese plus fried okra, were just
I visited this small town and tried their cream horns for the first time. I was in heaven. I ate cream horns every day because they're that delicious. 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend them.
***UPDATE - Brought the hubby. I had the chicken salad sandwich. They were out of croissants (insert sad face), but it was good on white bread. I got my favorites! The fried banana pepper rings!!! OMG!!!!! I can make a meal out of those things!!! YU
