Hymnsinger House Bed and Breakfast - Featured Reviews (22)
We stayed downstairs and it was well equipped. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like eye masks and ear plugs. The bed was comfortable. The location is central to so much in downtown Waco. And getting the gift card to World Cup for breakfast was such a treat! The food there was delicious and well priced. There was a fair trade market next door, which was so fun. We'll definitely stay again the next time we're in Waco.
What a beautiful property to enjoy! We stayed for our anniversary, and everything was thoughtfully equipped, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast gift card for World Cup was a highlight, too. Delicious, well priced food and a fair trade market connected to it. We definitely hope to come again!
My family and I recently stayed at Hymnsinger House for four nights. It was a spectacular experience! The host has thought of every detail for an amazing experience. It was immaculate and spacious. Lovey space for two adults with two children. It’s near to downtown Waco, so close to wonderful sites and restaurants. Breakfast from Baked Bliss and The World Cup topped off our experience. I would strongly encourage anyone visiting Waco to stay at this lovely BnB.
This place is amazing! Kathy has really thought of everything you'll need in this house. We stayed on the 2nd floor room upstairs. It was like a mini apartment. She thought of enough hooks in the bathroom, huge shower with great water pressure, well stocked kitchen, plenty of pillows and blankets, huge walk in closet, very clean, and delicious pastries and fruit for our continental breakfast. PLUS if you chose, you can have a gift card, instead of the continental breakfast, to a local place. Genius! ||Immediate attention was brought to us when our smoke alarm warning sound started going off. She had someone there within the hour! This place is close to everything you'll need to go to in WACO. Sooo conveniently located. ||I really hope we can make it back to WACO because I will definitely book this room at the amazing Hymnsinger House!
We just checked out after a 4 day stay and I can’t recommend this bed & breakfast enough. We spent our first night in the smaller room and moved upstairs for the last 3 nights and both rooms are modern, super comfortable, and charming. My husband and I both agreed that we’d totally live in the larger, upstairs space! We opted for the breakfast coupons at World Cup Cafe and its about a 5 minute drive, but they make a delicious, classically diner-style breakfast. Hymnsinger is about a 6 minute drive to down town and we had no trouble getting in and out for the conference we were attending. Kathy- our contact at Hymnsinger House was super helpful and communicative. Again, this was a perfect place to stay and we will certainly stay here again.
We stayed in the upstairs loft of Hymnsinger house for a Mother/Daughter get away! It was immaculate and no detail forgotten! It was very convenient to all Waco has to offer. I enjoyed meeting the owner Kathy who was so welcome and inviting. Any thing we needed, she was available to help. I appreciated the quiet serene home she has provided! I absolutely will stay here again if we return to Waco!
Loved this B&B! It was so lovely, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The complementary eye masks and ear plugs were not needed in this quiet space with almost black-out shades. Morning came with coffee and delicious pastries. Appreciated the working wifi and ample plugs. It's about 5 minutes from Magnolia and all the other little shops popping up around downtown. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it for anyone.
Stayed here with 2 friends for a weekend reunion and I would 100% recommend. Super clean, charming, and comfortable. It had everything we needed—good wifi, comfortable beds, did I say clean? A filtered water and also hot water dispenser in the sink. Fresh pastries. Super nice host. We'd all stay here again in a heartbeat.
Green Door Lofts and the host, Jim, were amazing. The loft is centrally located with garage parking should you need it but it is within walking distance to plenty of shopping and dining. The loft was well appointed and stocked with comfortable living
This place was amazing to stay, eat, relax and hang out after a long drive!!! We checked in, our room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a kitchen. After a 14 hour drive it was very nice to unwind on the couches in the lobby, sna

My wife and kids all go here and I cannot tell you the difference I have seen in them all. Professor Turner and his staff is amazing!! Highly recommended!!
The PHO here is amazing!! Holy cow yummy. I also tried the grilled pork bowlâit reminds me of Vietnamese vermicelli, but here itâs served warm. The âhouseâ fish sauce with it is very mild flavored. The menu only has a few items, but it all se
