Hyland Inn near Pasadena Civic Center - Hotel in Pasadena - 2462 E Colorado Blvd, USA

Excellent! The room and bed were very comfortable. The space was very clean. Neighbors and traffic were quiet at night. AC worked very well to my temperature setting. There is an amazing commercial gym (Speakeasy) on the same block. One of my favorite coffee shops (Rosebud) is two blocks away. There is a bar (Plate 38) with good cocktails a block away. A grocery store and drug store are a block away.

Simple and nice. Everything is kept absolutely clean. They have a good team who are courteous and professional. Our week long stay has been very comfortable. Laundry machines in the ground floor. An awesome Thai restaurant Beau Thai right next door. Equally delicious Lebanese restaurant Sahara is a 5 minute walk. Walgreens, Vons and Denny's closeby. Colorado Blvd runs right outside the Inn and makes it very convenient to visit old town. I am glad we made the right decision to stay here. Highly recommend for those who are staying for several nights. Saved a lot of money without losing out in the comfort.

Positive: The professional, friendly, social, and cheerful staff they were all wonderful and made me feel welcomed. And the cost/rates; quality, peaceful Hotel rooms, location, and services are all GREAT! Negative: Yes. You can hear other guests next door to you or housekeepers/staff open and close doors, which is a little noisy and annoying (and often, with smokers who go downstairs to smoke; or rooms being cleaned, etc.). Dusting EVERYTHING needs to be improved.

DONT BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. It’s a steal to even room here. People are just scammers and try to pull a fast one on this hotel. My apt is under construction and I’ve needed some place to stay. I’ve literally stayed at 9 different rooms here and there are no bugs, no dirtiness, no bad sheets, etc. SAM is the nicest human ever. So is the front desk lady in the morning. They are the most accommodating front desk ever. It’s amazing here. If you are ever complaining about breakfast at a hotel then you’re probably broke and can’t afford a real meal somewhere else.

The room is spacious and relatively clean with new amenities. The entire place is lit up at night which makes me feel safe. There’s no closet or iron board but for a short stay it was good enough!

Positive: Looks like it is brand new instead of partially renovated. The elevator and stairs look like new too. The view is not too bad on the 3rd floor and the other rooms were fairly quiet. There is also enough parking for everyone and within view of all rooms. Negative: "" Negative: ""

Positive: This hotel exceeded my expectations so I extended my stay and was there for a month while relocating to Pasadena. Hotel employee and the other gentleman that works there are very kind and helpful. When I checked out I had a total of 5 keys, He said it¿s okay. Negative: "" Negative: ""

No breakfast. Checked me in. Then room wasn't ready. Asked for first floor because of knees, not accommodated. No bathtub stopper, asked, was told there were no tubs... used a washcloth and plastic bag for my bath.
