Hyde Beach House - Resort hotel in Hollywood - 4010 S Ocean Dr, USA

I can Only speak on Outdoor amenities as I was a Day Pass User. However the property & grounds were clean & inviting upon entry. I did notice garage & valet parking. The check/in was a breeze the handsome black guy was very nice. The pool was lovely the hot tub was amazing, huge pretty spacious pool area with many lounge chairs & daybeds for rental. I love the inside basketball & outside tennis courts. The locker rooms & bathroom were clean & safe. The views are amazing! The Only issue was NO real food. There's a outside bar area only selling pre packaged cold salads, wraps & etc. Pretty cool experience in all.

This was easily my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. The valet service was absolutely wonderful and VERY efficient with prompt service. The front desk was very helpful and resourceful. The location was absolutely PERFECT around everything and extremely close to the beach. The best part of it all was the view from the room, I stayed 26 floors up and I fell in love with the wrap around floor to ceiling windows in the living room/kitchen. I slept in the living room more nights then the bedroom actually! Lovely vacation luxurious home!

Hello Hyde Beach! Thank you very much for the warm welcome! My wife and me had an awesome experience living in this hotel. The girls at the front desk tried their best to pick the room to my liking. Our one-bedroom suite was magnificent: large, spacious, clean, equipped with modern equipment/techniques! The balcony was large and the view from it was simply stunning! I didn’t want to leave it at all! Thank you very much to all the staff of this wonderful hotel. I hope we will be back again soon. Keep up a great work! Thank you! I loved the yoga class Hyde offered on the 6th floor near the pool! I arrived late as I saw the class from my room balcony and I ran down and the teacher Andreina let me join no problem. It was so much fun and relaxing. My body, my mind, and my soul felt calm and at peace after less than 30 minutes of the class. So glad I attended! I definitely recommend!

Great place. We had the best time here. Briana and Stanley made our stay amazing. I really appreciate them making it very special with my family. We were right across the beach and had great access to a basketball court and pools Thank you again.

If you’re looking for a place to stay- worth a consideration. Stayed at the Diplomat Hotel for 2 weeks while looking for a longer period of time accommodation. Choose a long-term stay at the Hyde Beach House. Have enjoyed the extended stay. Some live on this mixed hotel, Airbnb condo building. Would never live here but it is a good get away, with shared beach access with amenities Jim Costa mall, golf hard rock hotel downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Great place to be, near the beach. Note however that during some time of the day, the access to the elevator can be quite long (easily 10 min before you get in). At the beach, get there early if you want a chair during a busy week like Christmas for us (like 9-10h am)

Stayed during the holiday season. First, they advertise this as Hollywood beach, but it's really Hallandale Beach, which is about 1.8 miles from the Hollywood beach boardwalk center. Those traveling will want to use the Margaritaville hotel as a center point to Hollywood beach boardwalk. Electric car shuttle was cool, but they were done by 10 nightly. Hotel - elevators kept breaking down, and when running had lengthy wait times. Pool furniture, many pieces were broken, somewhat dirty. Pool area was nice, but loud with traffic, emergency vehicles etc. Don't stay here under the 20th floor if you're looking for quiet. Right next to the HALLANDALE fire department. Service - Staff was average at best. Valet was lousy. Bartender, some guy from the Double Tree was arrogant, and flat out rude to myself and other guests. He does not belong in hospitality. I asked for extra pillows, staff said no because we stayed in a private rental (VRBO). Beach - a five minute walk, through a 7-11 parking lot, across a busy two direction intersection at he bottom of a draw bridge. Lot's of traffic. 7-11 was the dirtiest I've ever seen. Beach staff, were all average. Chairs looked like they were bought at a Holiday Inn closure auction. Closely packed into a small area of beach. Tons of signs from the property stating no outside Food & Beverage. Can they regulate on a public beach? Beach service staff brought our lunches and never returned. Pricing for lunch was typical for the market. Rooms - Modern, but cheap. Somewhat dirty. My laundry closet had dust bunnies, old room keys and lotion bottles on the floor. I stepped on a broken piece of glass my first day. Sofa was disgusting, needed a top sheet, which HSKP reluctantly provided. Again, we were in a VRBO, so perhaps it was only our unit. Shower door leaked, toilet ran, toilet seats loose, mold and drywall issues from the leaky shower. Balcony was nice, probably 30 feet long. Sliding doors opened all the way for fresh air. Guests - a lot of foreign travelers. Pool was chaos all day, packed with massive families. But not real pool attendants, so be prepared for trash, dirty diapers, old towels and fighting for chairs. The overall lack of attention did not justify the extra resort fee of about $35 a day. It's not really a resort, more like a renovated old condo building they call a hotel. Overall, I would never go out of my way to return. But, if I had to stay there again, it would be okay. Two stars because of the lousy and misleading location. Normal spots for us are Marriott Vacation Club, Ritz Carlton properties.
