The villas are excellent. The room I had which was an accessible room because I had my mom with me was very roomy. The kitchen is fully equipped. The sofa bed was nice and the resort is pretty cozy. We stayed in a room near the reception area and the pool easy to walk to, the pool is simple but it's clean we were there mostly during the week so there wasn't a lot of people. My son used the barbecue outside and he enjoyed it even though it was really hot. Recommended for families mostly there were families in the pool and the atmosphere feels very safe. I would feel very safe having my 10 year-old in the pool With mostly families there- I would definitely stay again and tip: bring stuff to cook! and the staff are also very friendly and helpful. We did the escape room and it was really fun and the recreation room was also fun. I would say this place is simple, but the rooms are nice ! Snack bar has happy hour good food at good price !

All the staff were pleasant, helpful & friendly. The pool was amazing, cool, clean & refreshing. The rooms were spacious & comfortable but the furniture needs updating. Used the kitchen to make daily breakfast & did grill outdoors a couple of times.

We are Hilton Grand Vacation owners and had points to use thru RCI. We picked this location based on Gold crown status but we felt it did not live up to that ranking. Yes it was clean, nice size unit , a little dated, staff was friendly and efficient but if you want to hang at the pool and not have to take your kitchen or bar with you this is not your place. It does not have a bar and an adequate lunch shack. This did not meet our expectations as a gold crown resort based on our previous experiences. It is centrally located to all the amenities of Palm Springs. ||||The unit was spacious and clean and a bit dated but comfortable and clean. If you’re staying on the second floor be prepared to lug your suitcases up two flights of stairs. No elevator. The outside doors did not seem as secure as I would have like but they had security walking the grounds.

A good home base for exploring Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite on the second floor of the Bougainvillea building. The suite was well furnished with a full kitchen, pull out sofa bed in the living room, and washer and dryer. We enjoyed the swimming pool area. Staff were welcoming. Our suite faced the front of the property so we had a view of the parking lot and could hear the cars on the main road. We would consider staying here again in the future but in a different unit. We were able to utilize our Interval certificate for a weeklong stay.

This hotel is in a good spot for exploring the area if you have a vehicle, there isn't much within walking distance. ||Although we liked the space of the rooms, the full kitchen, and separate living and bedroom area was great, the update seems a bit like lipstick. I think the rooms could use a full reno, as opposed to just some paint and new furniture. We had a few issues, fan not working, cupboard doors coming off, etc. The maintenance man did come to fix a few things for us. ||For what we spent (during the Stagecoach weekend), it was a bit disappointing, but if you get it for the average pricing, I think it's good value, especially for the size of the rooms. ||We did really enjoy walking along the golf course in the mornings. The pool areas are quite nice with lots of chairs, we never had an issue getting a spot. The pool was a great temperature and kept clean and secure. ||We do love the Hyatt brand, but I think they could improve upon this property. I would consider staying here again if they updated the rooms more than what they are currently.

We really needed a last-minute escape from the rat race of Los Angeles. We put our heads together and decided upon going to the Greater Palm Springs area. We decided to try the Hyatt Vacation Club At Desert Oasis...we're very glad we did! The property's location in Cathedral City is a prime location for all of the Greater Palm Springs attractions...everything is just a few minutes drive away. The villas on property are very nicely appointed with granite kitchens with stainless steel appliances and views of the mountains and large open space. The staff at the resort is very kind and willing to help and the housekeepers are on top of things. We will definitely be visiting again!

Stayed for 1 week at the Hyatt Desert Oasis and the nightly rate was about $150 CAD. It was a great stay because the pool was nice and very well maintained by the cleaning staff, water was cool, lots of fresh towels and chairs, and it was decently quiet. The rooms are very spacious very much like a one bedroom apartment you might rent on air bnb. The washer and dryer were so nice to have and the kitchen is well stocked. The beds and pillows are comfortable along with all the furniture. Definitely made for a very comfortable stay. I felt the nightly price was very good for what is offered. A few things that would improve the stay tremendously would be if they upgraded the bathrooms in the units, updated the door locks ( we got locked out about 5 times) and got rid of the intense chemical perfume like smell in the check in lobby and games room.

My husband and I stayed a week on an Interval bonus week. When looking at places to stay in Palm Springs, I chose the Hyatt Desert Oasis based on three things: it had a one bedroom, it was in a great location, and it was rated by Interval as a “premier resort”. The location and pictures looked great, so it was booked. ||Having recently stayed at the Hyatt in Escondido CA, the expectation would be that resorts would be similar in accommodations and experience. This resort was neither. ||Our experience:|The grounds of the resort are very well kept. The lobby area nice and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. It appeared there had been an update on the flooring and furniture. The bed comfortable, the kitchen well appointed (very nice to have 6 dishes and flatware; the towels were in good condition. Our room overlooked the golf course; it was peaceful during the morning when we had our coffee on the lanai. We were thankful we had the golf side and not pool view. ||Unfortunately, the room/resort had issues. The room: outdated cabinets (some didn’t close properly) and slammed shut, the cabinet wall had a sticky residue that was left after a sign(?) had been removed, the microwave had a burn spot on the door, the corner plastic molding was missing screws, the door stops were missing, the bathroom wall was marred and had black dots(?), the shower had black mold, the bathroom sink faucet had hard water stain residue, a deck chair had a torn seat, some of the plantation shades didn’t close properly, the screen in the living room had holes, the safety bar in the slider was missing a part, which rendered it unusable. ||Our building had a smoking area right next to an entry door and smoke drifted to our lanai. The luggage elevator was broken. The first night, there were rude /loud neighbors nearby, who partied on the patio until midnight. The last 2 nights, an obnoxious family stayed below us. The first night there was slamming of doors for 45 mins until after 10:45; the second day/night the slamming continued as well as someone kicking the walls. This was reported twice to the front desk and said security would check into it.||We have been Interval customer for many years and have had many great exchange experiences; this was not one. Hopefully Hyatt Vacation Club will step it up and ensure the quality matches the name….the excellence is all in the little things.
