Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location in Savannah. Check in was a breeze with lovely staff. We enjoyed a welcome beverage in the stunning lobby. Beautiful views from the glass elevator of the interior of the hotel. We had a partial river view and it was enough to make me just want to stay and watch all the action on the river. The large river boat was docked just outside of our hotel, large sea vessels were coming and going etc. the bed was comfy and the shower was great!||We walked along the river and visited all the shops and ate lunch in a local restaurant. The rooftop has wonderful seating with fantastic views. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We did get the valet parking and it is worth it.
The hotel is very nice, and the staff is friendly. The valet is awesome. We loved the hotel except we could not get the room to cool down and was humid. It was crazy to see that some of the rooms faced the center of the hotel and if they opened their drapes you would be albe to see into their room. Highly reccommned a balcony with river view.
My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The entire property feels outdated and neglected, with visible signs of wear and tear throughout. The room decor, dominated by dark colors, especially black, made the space feel uninviting and dim. Despite booking a 'city view' room, our view was obstructed by large trees, completely blocking the view. Additionally, the room is far from tech-friendly. There were very few outlets, none of which were conveniently located for charging devices and one of which did not work at all. Overall, this hotel is in desperate need of a significant renovation to meet modern standards. I would not recommend staying here. There are better options in the Savannah historic district.
We stayed here on our way down south and it was a beautiful stay. Staff was very friendly and parking was easy. Parking is valet only but they did say there was paid parking elsewhere. We utilized the valet parking. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable and roomy. It is also centrally located so there is plenty to do around the area although we didn’t do much exploring. We arrived late Friday night and the area was packed if that’s your thing.
Me and my fiance were due to stay the night here on the 1st Aug, but we never made it to the hotel 🥺…. We found 5 kittens around 5/6 weeks old at a gas station on the drive up from Florida and we couldn’t leave them!
We called the hotel and explained the situation (this was only a few hours away from check in) and they were very accommodating! Within a week we was refunded the majority of the money back, incredible service from the front desk, what great members of staff you have! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hopefully we will get to stay another time although I’m scared for what I might encounter on the drive up next time.
Overall this is a beautiful hotel and in a very convenient location, but I was surprised to learn that they charge a $25 PER DAY resort fee and parking is valet only for $48 PER DAY. This added an additional $150 for my 2 night stay. That left a bad taste in my mouth. I get the parking situation, but just add the resort fee into the nightly rate so people don't feel taken advantage of.
The room was clean and comfortable. I recommend booking a room with a view of the river. I enjoyed relaxing in my room, watching the ships go by. I even saw a bullhead shark! All from the comfort of my lovely hotel room.
I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that the hotel is built on an important historical spot... I won't spoil it for you.
I will definitely be back.
So, the hotel is nice enough. The staff are mostly great. However, the WHOLE of our stay there was a barge right outside our window making obnoxiously loud screeching and mechanical sounds. I think they're dredging the river. It is loud enough that you can't go outside and carry on a normal conversation. When I say "the WHOLE of our stay", I mean 24 hours a day. It never stopped, not once. In fact, at night, sometimes you could hear workers yelling and foghorns going off. ||I get that the hotel has no control over this, but they should warn their patrons. It's been positively horrendous. I can't wait to get home, so I can actually get some sleep.
What a gem. This is a total find. The apartment is very large and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. We were two friends, so I used the sofa bed as an extra room. It worked very well - itâs big and comfortable and, if you ask, theyâ
Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
I love the community and teachers at Savannah Power Yoga! Also the NEW LOCATION in Wilmington is GORGEOUS. They have thought of everything to have a clean, beautiful aesthetic with a spacious feel. When Iâm visiting Charleston itâs my hOMe studio
