The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The front desk personnel couldn't be more friendly and helpful.||Our room was spotless, the bathroom was very clean. We had a wonderful stay. We did not have time to dine at the hotel so I cannot comment on that.

Coming in late after work was so awesome to be treated with Friendly staff, and a beautiful hotel! Food was great! Most of waitstaff were Amazing! Beautiful pool! The only negative was no late checkout when we are members, but next to nyc we were totally understanding! Thank you for a great weekend!

It is a 2 star hotel labeled as a 4 star. Don’t be fooled. I have stayed at nicer motels than this “regency.” Rooms are old and musty. They drilled the windows and doors shut so there is no fresh air in the building. You can change the number on your thermostat but you cannot change the actual temperature of the room. The lobby water with cucumbers looks like it is 3 days old. Worst of all, this location is not remotely representative of the Hyatt brand. It’s old a tired. Rooms are clean and no bugs. Still, I would try to find a better option if you can.

My kids live a hotel and love any opportunity to swim. This hotel was not too far from home but far enough that the kids were happy to swim in a pool and play floor is lava in a hotel room! Staff was nice and hotel was spacious. Would recommend

Used this hotel for a block for my wedding. Very easy to communicate with and get set up. The rooms were clean and ready on time. The only thing I did not like was that the people in my block were on all different floors, it would have been nice if we were all on the same floor. But I assume they just give rooms as they are available when people are checking in. I would recommend this hotel because it's very nice and in a convenient location.

Spent 3 nights here and loved this hotel!! Lovely big room with a gorgeous view, staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were spotless. Would love to stay here again if I ever visit Long Island. The lady on the bar was lovely and remembered our order each evening. centrally located with lots around and parking is free.

This review is a long time coming. I held my wedding in the Hyatt regency Long Island 2 months prior on August 26 and it was a horrible experience. I arrived the night before to check into my room to find out they gave it away to someone else. They then promised me that it would be ready as soon as I come down in the morning. On my way out to makeup and hair I checked with the front desk to get my new room and they said it wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for hours and it wasn’t their fault??? Going back and forth with them caused me to be late 30minutes to my makeup and hair appointment. I came back from makeup and hair 3 HOURS later and asked them for the room, and it still wasn’t ready. At this point my photographer had arrived and was now just waiting for the room. Then I told them that because they ran late with the room, my families makeup and hair artist began in our old room already and would need to continue to use for at least an hour. They proceeded to tell me that until we leave that room, I can’t get the keys to my actual room. We’re now 2.5 hrs into my photography schedule. I had to go back and forth between reception and the room with my makeup and hair done stressing because they wouldn’t give us our room. I had to beg the makeup artist to please pack up in the middle of doing my moms makeup and to move somewhere else just so I could get my room since the hotel wouldn’t give me my keys. I’m now 3 hrs into my photography schedule. By the time we shifted everything to the new room, that I should’ve received from the beginning and that I had paid EXTRA for I did not have time to take picture in my venue or reveal shots with my family. I lost out time to take getting ready pictures as well. You can imagine how disheartening and sad that is, that you planned this day for years and to have it go like that. But this is not the end. Once the reception began, they continuously lowered the ac on us- at some points turning it off. My father in law and father continuously had to go up to the manager and ask him to turn on the ac IN AUGUST because not only was I sweating through my makeup and clothes but so were all the other guest. At this point our wedding would be named the sweaty hot one with how hot it was. All in all, if it wasn’t for my family telling me to stay positive they were very close to ruining my day. And also I forgot to mention, they never served my wedding cake. Their electricity for the speakers went out multiple times in the party, halting the music and ruining the vibe on the dance floor. It’s incredibly disappointing with the amount we paid for the service we received. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Oh I should mention, they only give one room (not a suite) for DAY OF for bride and groom to share and they don’t have a bridal suite. We had to book my room separate and gave the room they offered to my husband.

My husband and I used this hotel for our hotel block for our wedding. After listening to friends who had done the same, I really should have taken their advice and looked elsewhere. It was close to impossible to get in contact with anyone and half the time, emails would go unanswered. Our first problem was when our guests were trying to book the room block- most were getting the notification that the entire hotel was booked up and the block code was not usable. When I had called the hotel to try to fix the problem, I was told it wasn’t the hotels fault but my guests were doing it wrong. I was contacted by more than 10 people about this issue, so I really don’t think it was. Upon booking the room block, I had expressed that we had wanted to a morning after breakfast for our guests. I had sent multiple emails to the director of sales over the course of the year between booking the hotel and our wedding date and I was told we would figure it out at a later date and that someone would be reaching out to be in July, a month before our a wedding. The beginning of August came and I still had not heard from anyone- my husband finally got in contact with the person in charge of setting up the breakfast to only be told that we almost missed availability because we waited too long. To be honest, for the price we paid, and the fact that the breakfast option we chose didn’t resemble the same food options that was there at the breakfast, it really wasn’t worth it. We also had a problem with gift bags for our guests- I had filled out a sheet when we dropped them off expressing that I wanted each guest to receive their own bags. Most of my guests stated that they weren’t given them when they checked in and I brought home more than half of the bags that I dropped off. Most of my guests had told me that checking in was very confusing and the staff seemed very overwhelmed due to having 4 weddings that weekend. Overall, my husband and I were left extremely disappointed with the service this hotel provided. We hope other engaged couples planning on using this hotel as their option for their wedding guests have a better time with it than we did.

Positives first: The pillows were great!! The sheets were good. The room was neat and clean. The rest of the bed linens looked and felt cheap. The mattress was adequate but not exactly comfortable. Overall, the bed was adequate but disappointing. T
