It was a great overall experience staying here except for when I went to enjoy the day at the pool with my family and ordered a drink. I handed the server my ID when she asked and then 15 minutes goes by and her manager comes out. He said that the server had some concerns about my ID and he wanted to see it again. I take my ID out again and show him, he stares at it and tries to tell me that it is going to expire in 20 days which it is not it does not expire until 2029 and continues to be rude. He also told me there is no smoking out by the pool which I was not even doing. When I got my drink after 25 minutes, it tasted like there was no alcohol in it and I'm sure I was charged for an alcoholic beverage. It really did ruin my day because of how I was treated and I had drinks at the bar on the hotel property the night before with no issue with my ID. I would advise management to think about how they treat their guests instead of trying to make them feel like they're doing something wrong. Also when we checked out, we were told by the front desk that the parking gate would open without the ticket and when we went to leave, we had to pay another $24 just to get out. I feel that the staff isn't trained enough and do not care about the guests. Otherwise, everything else was good.

My friend and I stayed at this resort a week ago for two nights and loved every minute. The moment we checked in they treated us so good. The front desk was very helpful and attentive. We loved our room so much we ordered in for dinner that night because we didn't want to leave the room. We were room 1327 and 1330. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and newly renovated. We spent the afternoon at one of the large pools and enjoyed an appetizer and a couple cocktails. The service was very good at the pool bar/restaurant, and we received our order within 15 minutes of ordering. The grounds are beautifully maintained. There is a lot to do for fun activities at this hotel. The resort private beach is still closed due to hurricane damage but set to open very soon. We spent Thursday morning in the fitness room and enjoyed the very nice machines that they had. We then grabbed a quick lunch and enjoyed our time at the spa. The spa was wonderful and lots of amenities to offer. We checked out Thursday afternoon and said we both would absolutely come back and enjoy this resort. I have already told several people that if they are looking for a getaway to check this place out, it's beautiful.

We spent the day at the resort. The resort is beautiful, however, the day pass is not as advertised. There was NO service and we had to go to the bar to get drinks and food. The adults only section was overrun with children. We enjoy resorts with adult only amenities and used the day pass as a test to see if we would stay. We definitely would NOT stay here and would have been very upset had we paid $700+ per night to have nothing as advertised. Why have an adults only area if no one is going to manage it and ensure it is adults only?

My husband and I arrived on January 8 for a 4-night stay. I had booked a King size room with a corner view. As soon as we arrived at reception, we found the receptionist unwelcoming and didn't share a single greeting to welcome us. He made no effort to make himself understood or to answer our questions. This is the first image we have of the hotel, and first impressions count for a lot. Next, we go to our room 1702, and as soon as we push open the door, we see a pretty room with 3 bay windows. The problem is that these 3 windows overlook a huge construction site next to the hotel, the view is despicable and the noise from the trucks incessant. Unable to accept this situation, I asked to change rooms to have a view other than the building site. The receptionist told me there was room 1126, where the noise would be the same but the view would be a little different from the building site. Worst of all, he told me we'd have to pay an extra 50 dollars a night for this room, and that we'd already paid 700 dollars a night. We were so tired that we agreed to change rooms. Every morning, we were woken up at 7:00 am by the noise of trucks and the construction site. How can a hotel of this category not warn its clientele that a noisy construction site is underway... it's a minimum to ensure transparency and why not lower its prices? Worse still, how dare we ask for a supplement for a room where all we have left is a bay window, and the noise is just as bad? We're in a hurry to check out tomorrow and will never come back here.

Rooms are newly done and lovely. The property is busy with kids and weddings so if you want peace and quiet we recommend Hyatt coconut cove down the road. Our grandkids love the slides at the Regency and all the activities. We have been coming to this property for about 10 years.

This Hyatt is fabulous resort. The minute you enter the fresh aroma is special. The service, and buffet breakfast is outstanding. So many beautiful outdoor spaces and pools. Great resort for families. This is our second time there and we will certainly be back. Terrific Globalist benefits ❣️ Thank you Hyatt for a wonderful vacation.

Fantastic experience overall!! Resort blew our expectations with the amount of water features/pools/slides/lazy river/green space for kids to play! So many great outdoor areas that are spacious and it didn’t seem over crowded at all! Not to mention great restaurants and food!! If you’re looking for a great cocktail you MUST go to Tarpon Bay and get one from THE BEST bartender ever, Drew!! Makes everything delicious, but THE BEST is his special spicy margarita!! Must order!! Overall all staff and customer service was top notch as well! One of our favorite vacation spots to date!

Great location, amazing pools. Rooms are nice but nothing over the top. Service was very hit or miss. Found several members at the front desk to lack care for the customer.

EDIT: I was very disappointed to see a dog at the pool. It had no "service dog" vest. Pets other than service dogs are not allowed on HVC properties. >:( Beautiful facility! Sam and Sandy at the registration area were very efficient and pleasant. Gre

This place was fabulous! I’m very weird about cleanliness, and this place met every expectation! Breakfast in the morning was great, we came when it was cooler out but hotel pool was warm, and staff was great. We stayed a week and my kids actually
