Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach - Hotel in Honolulu - 175 Paoakalani Ave, USA

We had an excellent time, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt safe, the rookies were very nice and clean. The location was very good. Just a five min walk to a beautiful beach and lots of shopping and food option! If I had any criticism at all it would be the beach towels and chairs they provide could use an upgrade, but I wasn’t expecting them to provide them anyways so it was still a great bonus! The water stations were also nice to have around!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach. Rooms were very clean and staff was amazing. The room had an amazing view of the mountains and it was literally steps from the beach. There were beach/pool towels available which was very convenient. The hotel provided a welcome package that included a reusable bag and water bottles that could be filled at any water filling station in the hotel. The breakfast was amazing. Housekeeping did a wonderful job by keeping the rooms cleaned and stocked. There was also two gift shops on the first floor of the hotel which was also very convenient. This hotel was also conveniently located within steps of several shopping stores and restaurants. Will definitely stay at Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach again!

Hyatt place provides all the upscale amenities at a reasonable price for being in Waikiki!. Nice lobby with a bar with snacks, seating area, TVs and computers. Rooms are very comfortable. Hotel is one block from Waikiki beach, has food trucks on the side of the hotel, several restaurants close by and several of ABC convenience stores (sandwiches, alcohol, sunscreen, etc) nearby. The hotel provides, at no charge, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, and sand toys for daily use. Breakfast was good with all the basics (nothing fancy) and hot items (eggs/meat), fruits, yogurts, breads, coffee, and cereals….note breakfast area can get really crowded so be prepared. Also don’t worry about paying for a room with a view….the Hyatt Place has several hotels around it so you really don’t get much of a view of anything. Staff always were incredibly friendly and gracious. Big shout out to our housekeeper Leonida who brought us extra coffee pods every day and left them on our door….she went over and above to make sure we where treated like family.

The good:||- Room was large and appears to have been updated.||- The staff were all very helpful.||The bad:||- The pool is tiny. There were only 7 loungers. There are many tables near the pool but they are all used in the morning for the breakfast. People do not seem to be using the pool at all. The water is very cold.||- Breakfast is pretty much the same every day. If you like scrambled eggs, toast or the same cereal every morning this breakfast is for you. If you want variety, this is not the breakfast for you.||- Pigeons love the breakfast. They will land on your table to eat your breakfast and deficate on the table and chairs if you let them.||- There are only two elevators for the 20 floors in the tower we were staying in. The housekeeping and other staff have to use them as there does not appear to be a service elevator.||- The bathroom in the room is tiny. When these rooms were renovated they should have expanded the bathroom into the main room to create more space.

Excellent hotel. Walking distance to the beach. Best breakfast with huge selection which changes daily. Ihab the manager is wonderful. Angeline at the front desk is amazing. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.I have gone multiple times.Highly recommend this hotel. I recommend book directly on their website.

Hotel is just a block or two to the ocean. Close to parking. You can valet for $57 a night or self park for $35 a night. Breakfast is good and they seem to alternate the main items every 3 days. Room felt a little small. They give you a water bottle to refill from the station in the lobby which is perfect.

The lounge area was a wonderful place to relax and visit and to enjoy happy hour. All of the staff members that we dealt with were absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed our breakfasts! The only downside was the pool area was dingy and the water was cold!

The Hyatt hotel was nice and clean. The hospitality was wonderful! Complimentary breakfast was very good. Full restaurant style spread. I really enjoyed my stay and will book them again in the future.
