Hyatt Place Savannah Airport - Hotel in Savannah - 4 Stephen S Green Dr, USA

My family stayed for 1 night on our road trip. Check-in was smooth. I was surprised by only 1 elevator available. First time in any hotel to have just 1 elevator. That's ok. Once in the room, we liked that it was roomier than other Hyatt Place hotels. It's very outdated though and TV was very tiny and old. This hotel charges around $200 so definitely falls short based on the price. Up until now, I would have given a 3 star but I'm giving this hotel a 1 star due to breakfast experience. One of worst breakfast compared to other Hyatt Place hotels in terms of variety and quality of bread/meat items. They were hard and not cooked with care. Worst of all, I was down to breakfast area 25 min before close and scrambled eggs were out. They never refilled the eggs. Regular coffee was also out but not refilled. Hotel management should visit other Hyatt Place and bring up their breakfast team up to Hyatt standards.

The place is conveniently located off major hwy I95, and has a restaurant next door as well as several other eating options within close distance. The breakfast is also good, with varied selection available for all palates. The rooms feel used and abused with carpeting, smelling musty, and frankly, the room maintenance lacking. My room, when coming in, noticed the bed appeared wrinkled like someone had been sitting there and bed underskirt flipped in every direction, not dressing the bed nicely. However what truly disgusted me was when I turned down the sheets of bed, as I usually inspect my room on arrival, the bed sheet was dirty with what appeared to be smeared chocolate residue [hoping it was that, and not the other] and a toilet paper sheet. I addressed with the front desk, and the cleaning dept quickly arrived to change out. They changed one bed instead of doing both, we had to request the other bed be done, and my mother ended up doing her own bed. They simply left the sheets for her. However, the cleaning assistant had the nerve to whisper to his associate that the ' stain seemed fresh'. What??? I literally had just walked into the room and was still unpacking my items. Are you implying that I staged the stain? I found that to be rude and frankly showing lack of care in customer satisfaction, not to mention no pride in your work. Thankfully, it was just an overnight stay. I would recommend, at a minimum, re-train your employees and stress the importance of service with a smile and pride in your work. I am clipping the pictures as well. You are in the HOSPITALITY industry, if you can't be hospitable, then remove yourself.

JAMES, SHANTRELL & TIFFANY were absolutely AMAZING. The quality of service received from these 3 were beyond professional. I left 100% pleased. The warmth and hospitality received would always be remembered. I would definitely recommend this hotel stay because of them.

A special thank you to Ian who worked the night shift during my stay. I called before I came in and was immediately pleased with his welcoming phone demeanor. When I arrived he checked me in flawlessly and quickly and I was pleased with my stay. I hope he goes far in his career as he made my rough night end smoothly.

Highly disappointed! Reserved a room last night due to bad weather in our area, when I arrived to check-in I was told it was reserved depending on availability and they have no availability. Please change your online booking to state that, don't have people believing they have a room when they don't. I was able to book a room at the Hilton across the street (thankfully). Hyatt, if you could remove that "hold" on my CC you have for the room that wasn't, it would be greatly appreciated. Horrible way to do business.

Great location to the airport. The lobby morning and night smelled like they were smoking pot. So if your a pot head, come on in and hang with the staff for a good time.

My wife and I have stayed at other Hyatt Places and this one is the least favorable. The hotel is out dated in all areas. This includes the lobby area and the hotel rooms. The air conditioning system in our room was very loud . Really uncomfortable noise. I recommend they look into immediate renovations if they want to attract guest.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It was clean, nice and service was great. The hotel is perfectly situated near the airport with lots of restaurants around. It's a great area! The room was very spacious, with plenty of room for our party of 5.
