Hyatt Place Grand Rapids-South - Hotel in Wyoming - 2150 Metro Ln SW, USA

Some people may think "Cheaper rates, not worth it". Well, totally the opposite here. We arrived a bit late and were greeted promptly. The exterior was very clean so definitely was a good welcome while driving into the parking area. The lobby also clean and pleasant. Reservation was already set. We were advised about breakfast hours, as well as a coffee bar that was open late (we loved it since we're coffee drinkers). The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again if I'm in the area again, whether be for business or personal reasons.

Positive: This hotel had great staff working at least during our stay. Room was well maintained and prepared for our weekend stay. Breakfast had many excellent choices. Negative: Unfortunately there was no microwave or enough towels available for a room equipped for six. The pool was extremely cold so apparently it was not heated for colder months. Nothing that ruined our family getaway though.

If I could do zero stars I would. Stayed here for about 5 hrs long enough to take a nap and a hot shower however there was no hot water not sure if other rooms had hot water but never was offered to use a different room to take a shower. I reached out to the manager Norma for a refund and was told no because they fixed the problem. Well that's great but sure didn't make it any better for my stay. I will never stay here again.

My family and I decided not to squeeze into my in-laws for the holiday weekend. This HP was very clean and had connecting rooms with plenty of beds for our larger family. ||||The facilities are clean and modern. Staff is friendly. The pool area is very nice except it was c-c-cold! Could they please kick the pool temp up a few degrees? ||Breakfast is abundant and there’s lots of sitting room. ||The location, right off M-6, is convenient to all that GR has to offer.

Hotel was clean and enjoyable. ||Location was great and close to everything needed. Pool was to cold and unusable however. Rooms were bigger then expected and virtually new. Quiet hotel and very helpful staff

I stay at Hyatt places, Hyatt houses, and even we just received all the time. This one was fine. It was average. The people were nice, and I will return. I’m pretty sure I saw an indoor pool, which I wasn’t able to take advantage of. The sausage was too greasy (literally floating in grease) but otherwise the nice. I requested a 4 o’clock check out when I checked in. On the global list, and I usually do. I’m certain that I made the request and he repeated it back to me, however, I got a call at 2 PM asking when I was leaving. So that information was never passed on. Not a big deal though

This hotel is a JOKE! No Hot Water! The ENTIRE parking lot was Full of Snow and Ice. And again… NO HOT WATER!! Also NO REFUND OF ANY KIND for this SERIOUS Inconvenience. The “Manager” Norma, RUDE RUDE RUDE!! Don't stay here unless your normal is Not Showering. It’s Beyond me how in the hell THIS is a 4.5⭐️ hotel?! NEVER AGAIN!!!

The hot water stopped working one night, and the desk attendant said the mechanic would not be in to fix it until 7am. There was no hot water in the morning. This is unacceptable for a hotel. They should have an on-call mechanic for emergencies like these. Everyone I saw in the morning was miserable. Everything else was okay, but no hot water is a deal-breaker. I do not recommend this hotel.
