Hyatt Place Dewey Beach - Featured Reviews (1225)
Recently had a four day vacation in Dewey Beach Delaware and stayed at the Hyatt Dewey Beach. Upon arrival, my room was ready earlier than expected so we were able to check in immediately and we were probably three hours early and planned on grabbing lunch prior to check in. Being able to check in unload our bags and head right to the lighthouse restaurant and bar Cocktail and lunch was fabulous and started off the vacation. Great. The room was spotless. Everything worked the bathroom was clean. We had the king size suite, and we couldn’t have been happier with the amenities. We were given breakfast every morning. It was hot and delicious with everything you needed And we had a great four days in a cool little town and recommend checking out the beach at the Hyatt. Well done Hyatt Place thanks for a great stay.
I am a frequent guest at this Hyatt, for many years. The hotel is fantastic. Always clean, organized, in pristine condition. The management and staff are amazing. I can't name everyone unfortunately but certainly will highlight whom I can. Nicole, Katie, Carson, Natalia (at Lighthouse) ALWAYS go above, beyond and sideways. Not just for me but for all the guests with whom they interact and assist. In addition, housekeeping and maintenance are always, also, helpful, friendly and diligent. I have stayed at almost every hotel in Dewey over the years, the Hyatt is the most wonderful and adds something special.
We were in town for a short stay for a wedding. The room was good enough for a family of 6. No major complaints except bathroom slide door wouldn't close unless locked. We had no issues with finding a parking space even tho I see some reviews saying that was an issue. Parking spaces are a bit tight, we had an SUV, you can make it work for a few days' stay. Otherwise, it was a good stay. I would stay again. Breakfast provided was fine, nothing fancy but good enough.
Within Dewey beach, this is a great location with a wonderful outdoor deck that walks out to a nice beach on Rehoboth Bay, plus the hotel is steps from the ocean beach. It's also very easy to get to most of the Dewey Beach restaurants and shops, and the hotel has some cute events/gatherings throughout the week.||||I thought the daily breakfast was pretty lame - I didn't think the fruit was very fresh, packaged pastries, waffles made in bulk, etc. I didn't find it very appetizing.
We loved our stay! The hotel was clean and taken care of. They had a recent remodel and it shows (lovely). The lighthouse restaurant that is attached had delicious food. Eating there at sunset was a lovely way to end our day. The beach by the hotel is small but was perfect for my small children who enjoyed it for a few hours.
I would highly recommend.
We stayed in a double queen with a pull out bed.
We booked 2 rooms since our group had 2 dogs. Hotel is very accomodating and it was fun seeing other guests dogs in and around the facility. Also fun with all the dogs on the beach after 5:30pm and early in the morning.||||Hotel service was great, no beach badges required. The only negative comment was the free breakfast had a limited selection. Hot coffee available all daiy was a plus!||||We would definetly stay again.

Faw Casson held their Beach Day party at The Hyatt in Dewey Beach, DE. Wonderful facility and wonderful staff. Very helpful and accommodating. The location is out of the hustle and bustle of Rehoboth. The hotel has its own beach on the bay. The deck was great for socializing and catching up. This was Faw Casson's 3rd year having their party at The Hyatt and will probably come back again next year.
I love this beach! Grab some food and sit on the beach with a towel! This place is the place to go to avoid tourist life and live with the locals! Please note that they generally do not allow fires on the beach and you do need to pay for parking star
Fun place for the kids with a covered gazebo to sit and watch when not playing with them. Water fountain provided for hot days. Kids loved all the toys in the sandbox. There was even a book exchange for story time under the gazebo.
Stopped in for lunch and this place did not disappoint. From the friendly staff, drinks, food it was all top notch. The special that day was "the monster" and as you can see from the pictures it truly was. Another must try is the the md crab and crea
Firstly, Nickâs is the only place for a cheesesteak. Bread is soft. The meat moist and excellently chopped and plenty of cheese. Today, for lunch, I had their gyro. Given the authentic feel of the place, I had high hopes. (Iâm doing a head to hea
